Honestly I never seen a game work with more than like 2 developers at a time.
This only proves it to be true.

because Bungie, say what you will about Destiny are a bloody solid dev and make sure that no matter what the game mechanically will work.

The issue again for Halo MCC is they had no beta so no idea what crazy things would happen when out in the wild... Just like Halo 4 did....

I liked the core of A CM don't know why but I just found it funny.
The core story is all there it's just that achievements and all the core elements that should be in the box don't work.

This game screams too many cooks.

Yes, as I mentioned earlier, Destiny is a solid game with some gameplay issues. Nothing mechanical.

I'm starting to wonder if 343 did any of this or if they were just giving the orders.

I've been saying that 343i were just supervising and are busy with Halo 5. Don't even know why their name is on the box. MCC feels like a game put together by multiple groups before even knowing of the mass outsourcing.

Man im bummed.

My biggest complaint (other than the obvious problems already stated here) Had a party of 5 guys trying to play together last night, most games only allow parties of 4, EVEN WHEN the teams are 5 people!! That makes no sense. Fucking allow us to have a full team of 5 instead of having an odd man out, or getting a fucking random on our team for no reason. Guess it really didn't matter cuz we only got to play 2 matches together while the rest of the night was spent waiting in lobbies.

It was always 4v4. Not sure why this is news. Play Big Team Battle

I haven't touched the campaign for Halo 2 yet, but judging by the H2A multiplayer maps, I have huge mixed feelings over the graphics. Most things are absolutely gorgeous, but there's an annoying white falloff on players, vehicles, and even some guns if I remember correctly. It's like they've just discovered rim lighting and went crazy. Saw it way back in promo shots and was hoping that it was something that would be fixed, but it's looking like it was an actual design choice.

Everything else is so good looking though :(

Were Saber and 343 the only parties working on this title, it would have been just Halo 2 Anniversary on Xbox One.

Trying to get four Halo games onto the same console wouldn't have happened without pooling efforts from a lot of people.

Just bought this yesterday and played Pillar of Autumn and Halo from Combat Evolved last night.

1080p...60 frames...on my 60"...it was like a new game all over again...

Felt the same way, then I got off the Pillar of Autumn and the performance shit the bed. There's still so much to love about it though. Major feels during the opening cutscene. Switching engines while looking at different character models can provide lots of entertainment alone. Some people go from old with scars, to young and clean cut.

You can play it with the old graphics. I am switching between the two graphics on halo ce

Campaign is absolutely gorgeous. The thing I love most is that they were very conservative in their approach with this one.

Agreed...in halo 1 remaster they messed with many things that actually impacted the gameplay. In certain situations i had to switch back to original graphics...most notably anytime turrets were involved because in the anniversary the shots were huge and they visually lied about the size of the plasma explosion. Much more restraint was used this time and it is much better for it.

edit: updated

Well there is the problem. They did not hire anyone to program the matchmaking.

I was just in 3 consecutive Halo 3 games without being kicked at the end.

Granted it wasn't fair teams it's an improvement atleast.

Wondering this as well/whether or not they've deployed that patch yet.

I wouldn't say properly but I am starting to find games easier.

Again found a match in about 1 minute it seems to be definitely improving as I couldn't find a match earlier.

I'm still stuck in "searching" forever. Haven't been able to play a single H2A match since saturday.

I've been avoiding most campaign stuff to experience it first hand but from the few things I've seen I completely agree. Stylistically it seems much more faithful to Halo 2 than the Halo CE remaster was. I just have that one gripe about H2A MP's graphics, and I don't even know if it's present in the campaign.

got it

edit: skywalker did the CEA music too

Yup, plus there were heaps of other studios that worked on Halo 4.

- Axis Animation
- Certain Affinity
- Cynergy Systems Inc
- Digic Pictures
- Digital Extremes
- Giant Studios
- Liquid Development
- Pearl Digital Entertainment
- Ruffian
- The Sequence Group
- Technicolor Game-Sound Services

Found 5 more people for Halo 3 after those 3 games.

I'd say the Halo 3 playlist is getting started.

Haven't been able to find anyone in H2:A playlist for ages.

Same here. It was SHOCKING when I switched back to the old graphics. Can't believe it looked so bad.
Oddly enough I felt the exact opposite. I kept switching back to classic on Halo CE and going "I can't believe how great this looks" at 1080/60. Only downside was how dark certain parts were. But then the anniversary graphics were super bright in contrast so it was weird.

Yes,difference is really big but I am under the impression that original CE in that remake looks a little worse than Halo CE that I played on PC or xbox360.
One thing that I really don't like in remake is Forerunners architecture though. It is changed too much.Looks cheap.

First time through campaigns. Up to control room in CE and the pacing so far is excellent. Cartographer mission was a lot of fun. I heard game gets worse from here on out. A shame cause so far it has moved along beautifully with some great combat encounters...

Why can't they just build their games like Bungie and do everything under one roof? MS most likely gives them a huge budget. It's important to have proper synergy in development.

Brightness is such a weird thing. Were earlier TVs somehow brighter than modern HDTVs? Because when I've returned to older, untouched titles on PC or consoles using a modern display, I often find myself running to the brightness settings, cranking everything up as high as they can go just to see.

It's wierd looking off the edge in truth and reconciliation. The original makes the Halo ring look so cold and desolate where as the new graphics make it seem like your not even on a ring.

Put Mr in the group of people that enjoys the old graphics more...

Companies attached to Halo 3: Bungie, FASA, Rare, Filter, Sakson and Taylor, Excell, Volt, Xversity (last 3 testing)

Playing through Halo CE, I seem to be stuck in a middle zone where Heroic is too hard but Normal is too easy. I had no problems with Halo 4 heroic a few years ago. Was Halo CE just that hard?

Also is it possible to change the graphics from OG to anniversary during cutscenes? Doesn't seem to work

You are misunderstanding. Outsourcing and 3rd party help is always happening in big budget games. Destiny is no exception, just watch the credits.

So me and my bro are starting the grind to beat all campaigns on Legendary to unlock that Spartan Sanghelli armor in the Beta.

Halo 1, with classic graphics, still looks beautiful.

What were their roles?

I know, but Bungie products feel cohesive and consistent. It's okay to have some outside help for smaller tasks, but it seems like MCC was just built by multiple studios putting their work together.
