Halo CE on legendary isn't very much of a joke as I'm starting to notice. Halo 4 and Halo 3 were really doable and hardly died.
I'm on the third mission, jeez.
Make liberal use of the Needler or PP. Seriously.

I forgot how awful the middle section of Halo 1 is in terms of level design. So bad.
First match of the day was 2 mins searching 5v5 slayer on blackout, it was beautiful. Now I'm frozen trying to start a CE match. Plz 343 plz just get it working
haha I'm frozen trying to start a halo 2 match..
I have not played much with forge in the past games. Is there a way to actually create a old style RA game type? 1vs1, with waiting lines and observers?
Um, don't all games fall off after release gradually? It's dominated the charts for months. Obviously they screwed up the release but hourly Amazon charts don't really give an accurate picture of how the game performed in sales.Despite being given the prime real estate on Amazon the collection continues to fall.
MS screwed up so bad
I hate to say it but by the time this thing is actually up and running which aint going to be next week you guys might not have anyone to play with.

We should make a serperate thread for Forge maps, has a lot of potential
Ran out to GameStop and bought two new XB1 controllers. If I can't get into online matches, I might as well get my roommates in on some split-screen goodness. (besides, I'll be having a rotating group of friends visiting during winter break, and they'd probably like to get in on the action, too.)
Yeah, don't bother playing H2A or Halo 4 in split screen. Performance is a joke.Should we tell him about the split-screen guys?
I'm on T&R right now. Made it halfway through the ship, perpetually on one bar of health. Legendary AI is godly. Hard to imagine how we got to Destiny AI from here.I told some guys last night that T&R could be a Dark Souls area, lol. It took me about 2 1/2-3 hours to get through the first 3 levels last night.
For real? That's crazy talk. People who have been fans of halo for 10+ years are not likely to abandon their favorite franchise because of a week's worth of launch issues. Look at all the people who keep trying to play matchmaking even while knowing it doesn't work right now. That's some dedication.Despite being given the prime real estate on Amazon the collection continues to fall.

I think the problems are deeper then the pool size of players looking for a match, something is failing and not working to pair groups together somehow.
Who knows.
What?!?Yeah, don't bother playing H2A or Halo 4 in split screen. Performance is a joke.
Wait till you get to Halo 2. It's ruthless.Halo CE on legendary isn't very much of a joke as I'm starting to notice. Halo 4 and Halo 3 were really doable and hardly died.

"Oh, let me check out how well I played my last match."
*presses Y*
*instant freeze* *loud grinding noise from music repeating*
Fucking sigh.

*finally finds match of Halo CE on Derelict after 20 mins of searching*
*game starts, get two kills, then die*
*well placed grenade, get double kill*
*game freezes, loud noise*
Seriously this is getting fucking so annoying.
Which is why 343 shot themselves in the foot big time and tarnished the legacy of Halo for newcomers to the series...... it's really sad. They're not the people to worry about. It's the non-hardcore but curious gamer that thought the collection would be a good entry point for them and doesn't read forum updates. Speaking for myself, I'm so partisan with Halo and play it so exclusively that when I give any other game a morsel of interest I am RUTHLESS in deleting that shit off my hard drive if something doesn't work, there's a mechanic I don't like or I'm just bored. If I was casual about Halo and I was confronted with hard crashes, screen freezes, broken lobby systems, interminable match search times, uneven teams and campaign progress not being saved I'd toss that shit in the trash and never give it another chance.

It is actively making me want Halo 5 not to reach 1080p to ensure a solid frame rate across the board, something H2A does not have.
It is but my god the copy and paste rooms and backtracking. The level design alone makes Halo 1 the worst Halo I can safely say now.
And it's going to keep getting reset until the h2a booting issue is fixed.Well was a rank 8, got in a match with three others. Got put on my own team and proceeded to get killed with either the sniper or rockets every time I spawned and then my rank got reset back to 1.
That's a fair point. For me, if I spend money on a game and it is all messed up, I'm probably going to check to see if the company is working on fixing their stuff. I'd definitely be upset, but I'm not quick to toss a 60 dollar game away (always trade-in value if not digital though). Now after a week or two of continued issues, then I would start to lose hope and might say screw it. But that persistence alone might put me in a different category than a casual gamer just trying out a random game for the first time. They're not the people to worry about. I think I'm just done with ranked until this gets fucking sorted. I've been avoiding this thread and trying not to be too upset with 343 but this getting ridiculous now.And it's going to keep getting reset until the h2a booting issue is fixed.

343 has some if the best brightest folks... How did this crap happen to a halo game? Halo made online mp where it is on consoles. Sighs.
I am a huge supporter of halo too. But my trust in 343 caretaking halo is being chalkenged.

I played the Halo 2 Anniversary campaign in co-op, probably about half of it anyway, and didn't notice anything dramatic. Or are you talking about versus?
