I find games very fast. I don't know if it's because Impatient and consistently back out and research every 2 or so minutes??? Are you guys just sitting in lobbies for hours without retrying???????
Things were probably REALLY bad for you before if you noticed a major improvement. Maybe they're was something wrong on your end and the update fixed it.
Would it be possible for you to post a video starting from the time you press the playlist button to the time you get in the game just so we can compare times? We all have different definitions of fast. It might be useful to compare times.

No it doesn't. I find games in 3-5 minutes. The most I back out is twice every 2 minutes.

I would wait a few minutes like 343 suggested, back out and try again, after a few of those I would reboot the game completely and repeat the cycle.

Honestly this is what will probably happen.
3-5 mins to find a game is still not ideal considering how big Halo is, sure its better but its not near where it should be.
CoD:AW takes like 10 seconds at max for comparison.

Im also in that time range, now if they can fix team members allocation that would be nice.
Sucks when you find 8~10 players you get 3 vs 5 or some other strange combo.
Dropping in while a match is going probably helps eliminate search times.

I get that 3 minutes is not ideal, but people are acting like the game is worse than it was at launch. It's clearly not, for me at least. I don't get why this is happening for some people though.

I know that it always looked good even on the 360 but jesus, Halo 4 looks amazing in here.
Landing on the forerunner planet and seeing the horizon decked out with those alien vistas reminds me why I love this series.
No other game does sky boxes this good. Not even close.

The deadzone calibrations for MCC are poor to say the least and the way aim acceleration functions appears to have changed significantly so in the case of Halo 3.
You're not the only one.
Randoms in this game are far worse than those playing on 360 as well.
At this point I'm just mildly irritated, all things considered; if that happened I would be downright depressed.

yeah, this should still sell copies through Christmas so hopefully it gets fixed before then.
I really want to pick it up and it would suck if everyone bailed.
But it had to line up with H2's 10th year anniversary!
It is quite incredible that both Halo 2 and it's 10 year anniversary edition should've been delayed to be properly finished. It's kinda fitting when think about it.

Try new playlists every 3 minutes if it doesn't say "players found" or "connecting session"

Since the patch went live, I have been finding games in 2-4 minutes, for every playlist, at all times, with only a few hiccups.

I've been getting matches much faster since the update.
I have noticed something that helped me.
When you are in the mm lobby it shows the symbol for being party leader beside your name. It will also show another symbol if you have players muted.
I always keep players muted but noticed that if I turn off the xbox and suspend the game when I go back to that screen the mute symbol is gone. I can't find any matches when this happens.
If I quit the game and restart then the symbol appears and I can actually find players.
Just wanted to share in case this could help anyone else.

Super jealous. Trying to find a game with a friend still feels almost impossible. I get host connection failures the majority of the time. Every once and again I'll get a "game full" error. I'd say it works for me 15% of the time alone and even less when trying to connect with a friend.

When it says that immediately back out and try again. Try different playlists if this continues to happen.

I used play in groups who dragged their 180's over to others' houses to link up for CE
However I never owned a 180. Played some Halo 2 but my friends weren't fans of the gimped pistol so we never played it much. Bought a 360 and H3 in Nov 2007 and here I am.
What? 343 has some Bungie people in it. Especially Frankie.

Most of us didn't do our homework. We would have delayed it had we known there was no LAN ability and that customs were a disaster. We can only get this group of 16+ together once a year. Unreal!
Should have hooked up 4 Original Xbox Consoles, a Switch/Router, and a bunch of controllers. Played Halo CE and Halo 2 on original Xbox, that's a guarantee to work.
MCC is messy garbage, even on LAN, how sad.
The whole next-gen thing is a massive disappointment.
