These things happen in pre alpha testing.
Find a Battle Rifle and forget the rest, aside from power weapons. Halo's sandbox is pretty weak in MP, but the utility of the precision weapons carry it to something great.
H2A runs worse for me. Framerate drops for no apparent reason and it's very glitchy. Enemies, vehicles, structures all disappear and reappear at random right in front of my very eyes with alarming frequency.

One thing Im noticing a lot is that sometimes in Halo 2 Classic when I get killed, it says on screen that I will be respawned in 4 seconds, but it takes much longer.
it's not as bad now with CEA. They added lighting that helps differentiate where you need to go.
QUESTION - did anyone's medals and subtitles just stop showing up during H2A campaign? I have them turned on but they will no longer show up. I've rebooted my box. Not sure the issue.

I'm just an average player but I have put quite a bit of time into these games.
My advice for doing well is to use the br and grenades.
Grenades are very important in Halo.
I'm sure you've noticed all the grenades flying in matches.
A well placed 'nade will drop the enemies shield and then a head shot will finish them.
As with all things the more time you spend at it the better you'll get.

Before today I would say the campaigns are solid, no issues.
But today is a total contrast.
Playing through halo 4 on legendary, started mission 7 last night, played a bit, saved before turning off... this morning when attempting to load I got a black screen with the red 'could not load' type message.
No probs, I was at the start.
Played through to the section where you pilot the banshee towards the end, had to go out, decided not to save and to leave the Xbox on, came home to find the Xbox was in the dash and the game actually had to load... uh oh.
So I had to start from the start as I could still only get the red error message... played all the way through, was just about where I was after close to an hour, taking the grav lift up to the banshee part... game freezes, makes funny noise, Xbox restarts and I'm looking at the same screen in the dash, worked out it must've also locked up when I was out.
Hoping to resume again, same red could not load message of course.
I give up, i'll try again when they patch this.

Man, twice I've seen 1 bomb and 1 flag on Stonetown both show up in voting. And of course both times Slayer BR gets picked overwhelmingly. Slayer on Zanzibar is not even fun.

I know, sometimes I try voting for Odd Ball and such but 2/3 of the other players vote Team Slayer BR. They really need a secondary H2A playlist that has Objective gametypes.
If it said 1 bomb BR or 1 flag BR I'd vote for it. BR starts or nothing for me on that large of a map. (Shit they might even have BR starts but I wouldn't know).
Nobody's gonna play it because Bungie mishandled objective gamemodes for nearly ten years. Now they just throw it in along with Slayer in the hopes that maybe someone out there will want to play it.

They actually never managed to get one-sided objective right. Too many ties. All they had to do was have two rounds and reward the team that capped faster. Why the fuck is it a tie if the first team caps the flag in 1 minute and the second team caps it in 9 minutes?

The best were games where one team, especially when losing with no chance of win (down 2-0 on one bomb / one flag for example), would hide or contest the objective for literally hours to get that precious win when eventually the other team had to go to sleep.

Just finished Halo 3, afer 2 and CE. Bungie sure is a fan of copy and paste leveldesign and backtracking. In my memory it was only CE that suffered from this, but it's in the 2 sequels as well. Granted, storywise it makes sense, but it just feels cheap. The design does get boring, too, after a while, everything starts to look the same. The shooting does feel great, though, and that's the most important.

Oh yeah, you're right. I guess I didn't think of that since I only got 1 other par score on Tsavo. Dem vehicle kills must be worth a lot since I've been playing with no skulls on.

For me, each day seems to get a bit better. Last night I was able to join 4 Halo 2 remake MP games in a row, even teams and lad free it was fantastic. It seems like it is very hit and miss. I did try and failed to get into a big team battle, so granted there are still a lot of issues left to deal with. At least it is a baby step!

Halo 1 had disconnected for me and my cousin, actually he crashed as host.
Halo 2 will de-sync on some stages so watch out.
Not tried 3 or 4 coop online yet.

Yes! Just lost all progress in a campaign and I'm still under a dozen mp matches found since release. Very bad!
It really is a damn shame.
The fact that they were promising 60 fps, all smiles at events like E3, and they knew their games barely ever hit and stayed at 60 fps bothers me the most about this fiasco. To answer your question though, the chances are zero.
