Last I played was this morning before leaving for Thanksgiving, and it seemed to be fine. I played BtB last night and it was entirely solid.
Just curious (and at the risk of sounding totally incompetent), are there no specific playlists for each separate game?

Also, found out you can only get one good matchmaking game per game launch, so rev3rb and I would: launch, party up, find a game, quit, launch, party up, find a game, quit, etc etc etc.

Yea that's where the whole, "reset your build" thing came from. Pretty much all customs among pro players for scrims and tournament matches do this. The entire HCS Invitational was this as well. Two days before release of the game, Pro Players were having to "reset their builds" to play tournament games on LAN.

I had the best luck finding matches when I searched alone, but playing team matches alone sucks balls.

Never made sense why they removed it. Only playlist that doesn't suffer uneven teams.
I've just heard it from the pro player twitch streams. They all say "reset your build" in a real sarcastic way, and a couple of pro's have mentioned that it was happening the entire tournament.
Some deductive reasoning from watching the HCS Invitational, tells me that the super long delays between games was due to all of the build resetting, and trying to set up a new lobby to start the next game.

Halo 2:A playlist needs a larger variety of modes. BR Warlord dominates the voting process. It's the most boring mode and map combination I've ever had the misfortune of playing in a Halo game. It's awful.

So I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that Halo: CE really is the best Halo game. Controls are perfect, the story is simple yet engaging, the level design is still pretty great sans the Library, and the grenades are actually awesome. Halo 2 and 3 feel floaty as all hell for some reason and Halo 4 feels super stiff. I don't know what I was smoking when I thought Halo 4 was awesome.

CE is EASILY surpassed by both Reach and ODST IMHO
The original set the foundation, but doesn't mean its immune from criticism and time, like say, Half Life.
Still best AR in the series tho

I always figured it was the other way around where developers start with single-player maps that they cut down into multiplayer sized maps.
At launch somebody here posted about every Twitch stream being people sat in the lobby. I just checked in again and every stream is people at in the lobby waiting for matchmaking.
Two weeks since launch, almost no media coverage. No wonder they shipped this game. They got away with it.

Anyone figured out why you sometimes don't get credit for a mission? Played half of Halo 3 in 4-player co op legendary and 1/5 missions didnt count. 2 missions in Halo 2 co op legendary.

What a frustrating situation. Never in my wildest dreams did I think there would ever be a way to screw up a Halo 2 remaster, let alone ALL of the mainline Halo games in one nice bundle. What could go wrong? Instant success, right?

What framerate problems? Genuine question - I've only played CE campaign, 10 mins of halo 2, and 1 Multiplayer match and haven't noticed any issues.

make no mistake, the promised halo bliss is there.
they just need to fix/change the matchmaking wrapper.

Looking at the PAL stats, the game had a strong first week, but almost dropped out of the top 10 in week 2 UK.
Looks like word of mouth has hit the game quite hard.
I'm still thinking about hypothetical scenarios where MS delayed the game by two weeks from November the 11th to November the 25th... would be in time for Black Friday and it would be in a somewhat playable condition I bet.

It gets horrible in co-op during sections (vehicle sections mostly for me) its not unplayable but it feels really shitty when it happens.
Beat Halo 4 despite the drops and glitches. I just feel this collection was not given the TLC it deserved. Really quite sad, I know they wanted to hit the deadline but this should not have passed any quality check in place. It really sours MS for me as a new xb1 owner.
At least I suck at Halo online so it hasn't been frustrating me like others since I haven't really tried too much to get into a match.
