I completely forgot about Mario Kart 8. Good stuff. Probably won't jump online again for that until I finish 3D World. I borrowed 3D World from a friend and am trying to get it 100% completed. Currently in
World Bowser
So, coming from someone who hated the Galaxy games, 3D World is alright. I'd probably place it in 3rd in my mario game rankings (excluding NSMB games and Mario 3D Land)

I'm not gonna even try to rank all the Mario games, but Mario Galaxy 2 is probably my favorite, followed by Super Mario World and SMB3. I also really love NSMBU + Super Luigi U, even if the art style is bland and the NSMBU part is too easy. I don't really like 3D World much at all -- the isometric view kills it for me.

He wasn't the only one. I think there was another who was a friend of his that got perm'd for the same reasons. The dude is on Twitter. He was quite salty about gaf after the cleansing.

was galaxy 2 not isometric? I honestly don't know. I enjoyed the level design more so in 3d world, the cat suit as well, and I enjoyed the free roam approach to the different worlds even though you were still forced to take the levels in order, for the most part. I won't miss shaking the wii nunchuk or wii-mote to fly between planetoids and such. The galaxy games were almost universally praised, but something about them really turned me off. The linearity was more forced. 3d world at least sort of gives you a feeling of exploration even if it's not really there. Part of that might be due to the cat suit's ability to climb on everything. I don't know lol.

At one point, I was literally the only one speaking against HaloGAF that zoojoo wasn't a bad person and would welcome his return, often saying how people misunderstand new members joining the community and how we need to be more welcoming, .

Can't wait. I haven't played Reach in so long, I'm not even sure if I miss it. I think I was one of the few people who actually liked the bloom mechanic, at least with the DMR. It was satisfying to pace your shots and keep your cool during a firefight. Was not a fan of armor lock breaking the game's pace completely though.
