Why they don't make the DLC free as well, I'll never know. Don't know why, but Reach just feels, plays and looks like Halo, more than Halo 4 ever does for some reason.

Reach with free dlc would be awesome, maybe you would be able to actually play a good map then

I never got that 42g stockpile achievement. Missing loads of others too but they end in 5 or 0.

It really shouldn't bother me but it does.

I'm trying not to spoil myself for the raid that just opened but from what I'm reading In the GAF OT it's really really hard and has much more unique and fun gameplay than the base game. Looks like bungie saved their best for Raid.

Now if only I could get some GODDAMN LEGENDARY ITEMS

Stuck at 24 with shit luck. I've never seen a purple drop in the wild and never even see anyone get anything purple in post game rewards.

I'm just leveling faction/vanguard to buy their gear since it's the only thing that will guarantee me a purple item. Hopefully I come across one along the way...

I'm stuck at 25. I found two legendary thingies but they've only given me well... shit. Currently crunching it out in the multiplayer. I absolutely hate it but it seems to get you some gear along the way

The best part of destiny is getting a purple engram and it ends up being an uncommon item. Not like I need better armor or anything...

Bad art aside, some of the story bits are cool. I however would not advise anybody to spend money on it, rather go buy a book or something. Books are cool, reading is cool, Plywood helped me see that.

It's a comic; in general (and especially with the art they've got) you wouldn't really be able to tell who's who. Even different armor doesn't often cut it (hence why in Reach they were pulling them off all the time.)

Now, in game, I dunno why they wouldn't stick with the ODST polarizing visor effect; that worked quite nicely.

Like, marketing wise, who is this for? If you're die hard enough to be reading Halo comics there's no reason to have a jumping-on point, and if you're not die hard enough to be reading the Halo comics you probably have enough sense to not read the Halo comics without absorbing the copious amounts of backstory which would, at that point, make you enough of a die hard to read Escalation from the beginning.

There's just so much shit happening with the narrative now it's hard to keep track of it all.

Is this going to be required reading to understand what Halo 5 is about? Will it actually make Halo 5 understandable, unlike the Forerunner Saga and the Kilo-Five trilogy for Halo 4?

Frankie said no, it will not. I have my doubts though. Would be nice, if they have like a super long prologue cutscene with all these events in Halo 5.

So some nerds I know are putting together a Halo LAN party. No idea why, but I decided to go and I'll most likely attempt to troll with needler, sticks, and splatters.

Anyway.

How many Xbox 360's can you LAN together in one party? I assume it's at least 8?

How many OG Xbox can you LAN together? I assume it's only 4?

I don't mean that he takes a lot of shots, I mean that from what I've seen and heard (haven't been watching constantly, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) he's basically like the Moon strike boss all over again; hits like a truck, plods around, takes a lot of hits, but not a lot else going on. The first boss was apparently pretty good, though.
