okay admittedly I don't know much about Halo 1 or Halo 2. I have both games but I've not played alot of either for various reasons. even though I've had Halo 1 for about a year, i concider myself still a newbie. and only just barely gotten Halo 2, i know almost nothing about it.

like many of you, I am aware that many changes were made to the final Halo2, from the E3 2003 demo with the famous 'New Mombasa' level which was cut. Ok after seeing some of the first cinemas of the released HAlo 2, i notice some of the script this there, but the scenery has changed. no New Mombasa, but the cool black marine officer is saying some of the same things he said in the E3 2003 demo. ok call me confused. but ok, i remember that alot of the focus is no longer on the massive invasion of earth......

so, what is going on with Halo? are we gonna see

*new and/or tje previously cut downloadable content for Xbox Halo 2?
*Halo 2.5 or Halo 2 Directors Cut on Xenon with the missing content?
*Halo 3 on Xenon


so it's 2005 now. what's up with the Halo franchise? ....Microsoft first serious breach of Sony Playstation's armor.

oh boy! another thread of idle speculation with no real confirmation, one way or another!

well, except for the "no downloadable campaign" stuff, that's pretty much in stone. and Halo 3 on Xenon.

warning: speculation.

i don't think we'll see Halo 2.5, as it's just like the Halo 1.5 business where Bungie was all "we'd never do that to our fans."

Halo 2.5 will eventually be Halo 1+2 for the DS and PSP.

Seriously though.. I have no idea. But its best to give the series a rest for awhile. Otherwise its going to go the way of the GTA series and start to burn people out. Though I can see that this would be hard to do,mainstream gamers are always the last to burn out on a series.

They should make spin off titles like Master Chief's Grand Prix or Halo Golf

Or even crazier, make a new RTS Halo game that's similiar to Myth
