So...someone added me to spoil me star wars. Apparently people in reddit are having the same experience. I dont give a f* about star wars but you should be cautious.

This community is shit between eveeybody bming when is winning roping when losing and now this...childrens card game stuff I suppose.

Golden Hunter plays Finley on turn 1, picks Totemic Call and then decides that face is the place. I guess it would be okay if the options were Armor Up and Lesser Heal.

What realm are you on? I'm asking because I'm on EU (rank 20 - 9) and BM is very rare for me. About 1 out of 20 games has some kind of serious BM behaviour. I think I have played close to 1000 games, and I don't remember anyone ever adding me just to be rude. Perhaps there was one or two cases that I have just forgotten, but it's not common.

Im playing rank 7 EU and BM is 90% of the games, every time rng goes good for them or have a winning combo 'happy feast of winterveil'. Sometimes they just emote every turn.

And this time they added me after winning to spoil me star wars...is like wtf. I supposed that was to talk about my deck ( I was playing a brew), but no...

I heard they are doing the same in twitch chat, spamming star wars spoilers over and over again. So yeah, love the game, hate most of the community. It's dominated by the scum, but you do tend to attract that in Blizzard games and in F2P games so I think this pretty much hit the locant of destruction.

I have a Golden Cenarius now.
Do I keep it? Or...?
I dusted my Golden Fjola Lightbane for Dr.Boom a month ago. Dusted my Golden Stablemaster and other stuff for Sylvannas. Opened a Tirion a week ago. I don't know if I really need/want anything else for the time being. I could dust it and get some epics for a new viable class but I'm on a Rogue and Paladin kick right now.

Basically is Cenarius something I should never ever consider dusting? Maybe this is my path to being able to play Control Warrior.

Cenarius has fallen out of favor in most Druid decks. I still think he's a good card, but seeing as how he's not really getting much play you could consider dusting him for something that you want. I don't know how close you are to being able to play Control Warrior, but you could consider dusting him and drafting a legendary for that deck.

I got beaten by one of those yesterday. I think the total was 29 damage out of hand + what he had on board, but it wasn't Reno I don't think.

Cenarius is good, but he's not really seeing much play right now as heavy ramp isn't in meta (vs. midrange/aggro combo). If there's some stuff you really need it might be worth considering, but I'd probably hold onto him. Plus you get the value of golden treants.

Jesus. My win streak with Priest evolved into an even bigger losing streak. Down from 10 to 12. Maybe I made some mistakes but I always draw the answers one turn later than I needed them.

I've been testing a Reno/Milling deck since the new ranking season, and I can't believe some of the decks people play in the lowest ranks. It all looks like bad arena decks with no clear strategy on how to win. But I'm so terrible at milling I'm still there :p It really is a deck that punishes any mistakes.

Not everybody has enough cards to make a decent deck. And not everybody follows the 'scene' or even knows about netdecks. Also tons of kids play

keep playable cards. as far as ramp druid goes, it's been getting cards in every recent set, it's something Blizzard is clearly pushing for, you might regret dusting that Cenraius like when next set comes. We got Aspirants, Aviana and Naga Sea Witch this year and then there is astral communion which is on the gimmick side but you get the idea that it's something they're actively pursuing.

This is gotta be close to worst or worst brawl. You just bring meta decks, in particular paladin and druid. so lame, played once never again.

I drew an 18 offense Bolvar in tavern hahaha. He returned my Bolvar to my deck, and when you do that it costs the actual mana cost instead of the reduced one. Bolvar didn't get to attack, but he was still on the board when the other guy surrendered (he would have gotten to one shot the other dude).

I made a Dreadsteed deck with a bunch of 4 damage spells to kill the crates (Shadow Bolt, Soul Fire, Bomb Lobber etc).

Crazed Alchemist good in this too.

Tempo Mage also good in this because the crates give you 1 mana spells.

The crates are over powered as fuck. Especially that one spell that you can get which saps 3 cards from your opponent side for 0 mana.

The cards seem to be reduced by 5 mana cost which is insane.

I played a few games of the tavern brawl as a druid and I swear to god the gift might as well have been 'Discover an Ancient of Lore' because I had it played against me in every game I lost at like turn 5.

Having a druid quest right now sucks. at least on EU its like every idiot has just the answer. Midrange is way to slow atm. And aggro is just too disgusting for me to play.

Because you were playing Druid. Or he was playing Druid. It basically Discovers based on the crate killed.


Also if you guys play Warlock then definitely 100% carry Sacrificial Pacts. The crates they will get from you will have powerful demons including Jaraxxus.. LMAO!


AAaaand played like 5 Mages in a row... yup people have caught on to the "best" class/deck for this Brawl.

fired zero bullets in the orphanage.
Silence is super strong in this, they still need to clear your crate for a real one to spawn. I just used a spin on the egg druid flood shit, buff the crate with mark of nature, soul of the forest on everything so you get a minion if they clear, add stuff like crazed alchemist and extra silences.

It seems like you can only discover 5+ cards from the box (and the mana reduction is always 5). So presents from Paladins, for example, don't seem that great because they have so many cards and a lot of their 5+ cost cards are pretty weak or conditional (anyfin, champion's blessing, mysterious challenger, tuskarr, dragon consort, quartermaster, i.e., a lot of 5/5-ishes whose effects are wasted). Other classes have way fewer 5+ cards and they're less conditional, so you're more likely to get something to make a big difference.

5+ Cost Cards:

Druid has 18.
Hunter has 12.
Mage has 10.
Paladin has 16.
Priest has 12.
Rogue has 10.
Shaman has 9.
Warlock has 14.
Warrior has 11.

My intuition is that the more cards you have in this category, the safer your class is because there's more setup/conditional cards to hide your legendaries and board clears.

Mage is strong because the Crates only seem to give 5+ mana cost c
creatures/spells from a class. Killing a Mage crate has a very good chance of giving Antonidas which they can play as early as turn 3.

So a Mage going 2nd has advantage because the other crate doesn't spawn if you are going first. They can just Crazed Alchemist their own crate or play Doomsayer. Once they get Apprentice out with Antonidas it's gg.

I feel that Warlock can go toe to tor with Mage if you focus on clearing their crates and filling your deck with the cheap Warlock spells which are really strong in this Brawl. They are forced to clear your crate, get Jaraxxus which you can Sac Pact for the win (which as a Warlock you should be running anyway).

There is certainly strategy and counter play to this Brawl but a lot of it is ruined by Antonidas and Sorc Apprentice. The crate should just give you a random card instantly.

I don't see why Mage is the best class for this brawl. Every time I opened a crate from a mage, I kept getting Flamestrike, which got me more crates. And then I won with an Archmage Antonidas + Rhonin Wombo Combo.

I think it's more because killing crates gives you a 1 mana spell which is godly for Apprentice + Flamewaker shenanigans. Zoo is also probably good since you will always have a Power Overwhelming target which gives you a crate, and you can get minions out early to start killing crates. Basically this brawl is all about tempo decks (rip control EleGiggle).

You answered your own question.

The Crates can be played for free with Sorc or with Antonidas/Flamewaker for value. Plus a discounted Rhonin is pretty insane too for Antonidas.

Stuff like Flamestrikes and Blizzards are icing on the cake.

Just play as Facehunter and ignore the crates, you'll wreck most "OP" classes in this brawl. Especially all those innovative Warlock players.

Got my one win and am out. Warlock zoo against secret pally it was close but he didn't have dr 8 to follow up his other drs. Even roped out dr 6 wut an ass then conceded like a big baby two turns later after having all his minions and secrets killed or sapped.
