Hercules first trailer

Troy looked & felt cheap too... while we are at it. Those sad fighting scenes, forcing those poor men to awkwardly make the gladiator poses. Man, i bet they thought it was going to look so cool.

Yeah, I have no idea what they were thinking they were doing with that or Brad Pitt's Achilles. I did like Erica Bana's Hector, though.

While true, it did give me a big ol' grin to see Odysseus talk about going home.

I'm still dealing with the fact that we'll never get an Odyssey movie starring Sean Bean.

Seems a bit wet to me right now.

I'm getting that clash of the titans kind of "bad feeling".

Also, what is it with trailers these days having to include an "onimous pulsing noise" which punctuates every glimpse of a scene?

BWAAARRRM

That noise could have been used in a trailer for the new Transformers and no one would bat an eyelid.

If they wanted to be more "true" to the legend, shouldn't the movie be called Heracles, rather than Hercules? My understanding is that is more accurate to the legend.

Lion jumping was sweet... big lions man, awesome.

The rest was no thanks.

This will be garbage.

Looks dull. Will likely end up being as soulless as Wrath of the Titans was despite the attempts made at "captivating" flash through action scenes and CGI.

This. That being said I want to see this. This looks like an actual Hercules film. Not that crap that came out a few months ago.

I agree, if you mean like a slightly more polished version of the TV show? I mean, if thats the intent... im all over it.

A lot of yelling going on in this trailer. But looks okay, I guess. Seeing Irina Shayk was a pleasant surprise.

Looks cool. I also like the abstract 2D title font instead of everything being 3D metallic with straight lines.

They just told enough of the plot to get an idea of how it starts. And just enough to show fantasy elements. Good trailer.

I was expecting much worse because of the font and the poster. Part where he creeps up with the lion's head was unintentionally funny.

Aside from that I'm game!

Having seen the trailer now, and having owned the graphic novel this was originally based on, I find myself immediately wondering if
the CGI fantasy beast segments are "reenactments" of the tales being told about Hercules by others in his party, to build up his legend. Because none of those "Twelve Labors" were in the original story, which is much more down-to-earth.

If that ends up being the case, some people are going to be sorely disappointed.
