Switch Back 9

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
So many people I'm surprised listen to hip-hop yet never venture into Gaf-Hop, repent.

I'll pop in now and then but it moves too quickly for me to keep up.

OP this is is the album I was mentioning last night, couldn't post because I was on my phone. If you want awesome instrumentals and friendly, non-abrasive lyrics, this is the album for you.

Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full (most accessible old school record in my opinion)
Paris - The Devil Made Me Do It (sounds just like Rakim, but with a strong black nationalist/5 percenter message)
Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent by Design (one of my all time favorites, excellent production)
Cunninlynguists - Will Rap for Food
Slick Rick - The Art of Storytelling (it's Slick Rick)
Mr. Lif - I Phantom (great concept album)

Don't really know what to recommend since you didn't include any specific genres you're into and lot of recommendations already. I could be here all day but I'll throw out some:

Big Pun- Capital Punishment
Bone Thugs N Harmony- Creepin on ah Come Up
The LOX- We Are the Streets
Ice Cube- AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted or Kill at Will
Twista- Runnin' off at the Mouth
E40- In a Major Way
Game- The Documentary
50 Cent- Guess Who's Back
Slaughterhouse- On the House
UGK- Ridin' Dirty
Lloyd Banks- Cold Corner 2
Young Jeezy- The Recession
Trae Tha Truth- Restless
DMX- It's Dark and Hell is Hot
Public Enemy- Fear of a Black Planet
Prodigy of Mobb Deep- HNIC Pt. 1
Z-Ro- You can pick any of his albums but I guess King of the Ghetto, Versus or Crack
