Unless you have something specific that you need that the case and mobo doesn't accommodate (memory overclocking, a second gpu, multiple pci-e cards, etc), I wouldn't bother.
I've got 4 HDDs + USB3 pci-e card + 32GB of ram in mine and have done some meaningful stress testing via Kombustor. Every power cable coming from the PSU is accounted for and in use, along with every bay and all but 3 USB ports (including the 4-port pci-e expansion).
CPU fan is always quiet, GPU sits at 79C under max sustained load (and is as loud as you'd expect it to be) and the system is as stable as Warren Buffet's stock portfolio. If you want to move your parts to a new core, make sure there's a really good reason to do so and not temps or something. This system replaced my 7 year-old Dell i7-920 system that was just as dense internally. It gave me only 1 issue in 7 years (eSATA port stopped working) while being less organized inside and warmer.
