For anyone concerned, yes you'll run VR like a fucking champion. Best new computer purchase ever.
Oh also, forget about most aftermarket CPU coolers in the event you plan to do heavy video encoding work or something else that forces the cpu to full 100% for extended periods of time. I had to grind metal down in the most yolo shit I've ever done just in order to get the 4th one I bought to work. The issue is the CPU backplate and I'll leave it at that. Most aftermarket coolers are designed to sit on top of the existing cpu bracket backplate, but the backplate in these isn't compatible with those solutions.
In fact, if one day I'm here saying, "welp..." it'll be because my "operation" eventually caused the board to short. I was just in one of those, "idgaf" moods.
Corsair's Hydro line of coolers have a mount type that actually does work, but the case is too small for their fans and radiators. FYI, the case uses 92mm fans. 120mm fans and 140mm fans are all too big. Unforutnately I could find no other CPU coolers that used the Corsair style of mount. Trust me, I looked at at least 50 different coolers from 10 different cooler manufacturers.
