I won't get into the politics of it, I am just going to say that I wish Zack the best. He is one of twitches biggest streamers and the only reason I ever used it. I hope Elon Musk buys twitch. I just hope he takes a much needed brake but comeback roachman.

I've never watched a video game stream, or even made a twitch account, but my youtube algo thought I needed to see his reaction type videos. Actually decent enough. Nothing I would miss though. I never subscribed.
 
his apology video seemed sincere. I never thought he was a bad guy and it was clear to me he went down the twitter/reddit rabbit hole that turned him into a meaner version of himself.

he seems smart enough to realize this and is aiming to do better.

A lot of people were quick to cancel him, but i know guys like him. they are not bad. they are just brainwashed by nonsense being peddled on social media. It was good to see muslims reach out to him and offer help instead of sending death threats. that is the way.
 
I am accustomed to listening to his videos everyday, to me he was like the rush limbaugh of the medium and i found him entertaining. at any event, i hope it's not a perma ban and he comes back.
 
For those that know who he want on a rant about the war in the middle-east ending up sounded like a dumbass in the end

I watched him a lot for his funny takes on games and stuff but his rant was just stupid. It sort of started the day before were he had said he doesn't get why people have LGBT flags with PAl flags since the middle east isn't friendly to the gay community. Valid question if you ask me. The next day someone either mentioned it or challenge him on his take about it and his IQ went out the window completely. He just ranted about F them F all of them there culture is inferior and he doesn't give a shit.

He then goes on Hasan for 4 hours trying to back up his comments which made it even worse for him. He tweeted some BS with my bad. In the end got a 2 week ban on twitch and than made a I'm sorry video

he's one of gamings biggest streamers and commentators and this is a gaming forum so it made sense to me. I am frankly surprised that many of the posters on gaf don't like him.

My point was more... he's not going to stay away for long. Two weeks will be gone in a heartbeat.
 
He will be back. In this video he explains what happened and what he plans to do in the future about his life and behavior.

He went off on a rant about the Israel/Palestine crisis after videos went viral about some kids being burned alive at a hospital or something. Saying he doesnt care about them and if they get genocide, he couldnt give a fuck. also called muslim culture inferior because of their views on LGBT.

he was banned from twitch last night for 14 days.

Today he made a video on youtube apologizing for his behavior saying that he's turned into a meaner version of himself that he doesnt like. He will be cleaning his room, visiting other countries and just try and be a less negative person going forward. he didnt like what he saw when he watched his own video.

Only problem is that his fanbase is extremely toxic and they dont like this about face and him going mellow. Hence the OP complaining despite his ban only being just 14 days. OP knows that when he comes back, he wont be leading a crusade against game devs and other culture things they despise. The other side doesnt believe in his apology and simply wants him cancelled.
