Since we last went over fatigues_gasolini's strange predicament, those precocious GAF detectives entered the scene and started to dive into our OP's post history. And as it turns out, this whole thing wasn't out of the blue, as gasolini had alluded to his girlfriend and their rocky relationship many times over the past few years. It turns out this whole thing is legit, which shocked the hell out of a lot of us. More and more tidbits were uncovered, all the way back to the tragic genesis of this saga.
And something incredible happened. Something almost unheard of. GAF... actually started to kind of feel bad about the whole thing. I mean... shit. This is pretty fucked up. So yes, GAF does indeed have a conscience. It's like the ending of The Grinch, but with more horse fucking.
Thankfully, as we all began to get a little worried by the OP's silence, gasolini made his return.

Scene girls are the best though.What a thread. OP I have been dealing with a very similar issue the past 5 years. I had big self esteem issues, but I went after this girl, and she walked all over me, only her cheating was technically always "when we were apart". Turns out she was deeply depressed and Bi-Polar. She also never held a job, is the most selfish being in the universe, doesn't understand the basics of adult life even in her mid twenties, etc. She did however always have a place to go because her one accomplishment in life was becoming some sort of Scene Celebrity in the whole alt/punk/emo craze around our town and may as well had DTF written on her shirt.
You really have to focus on yourself, nurture yourself, see what about you needs to change, and just do it. Work on the things about yourself one step at a time. When you feel like the ones that bother you most are getting alot better, your confidence in yourself will just out of nowhere become existent, and you will know where your place is in this life, at least for today.
