Most of the time I'd prefer the original but in some cases, like this one, the cover has a unique take that is more appealing.
That cover has 14 mil views now, but I'm surprised by the amount of English comments, especially considering the song is not anime related.

Mhmm, it was my first time hearing the song and when I looked up the original I was a little disappointed. The original is good imo but lacks the charm/appeal this cover did.
Anyways another cover I enjoyed more that the original but lacks the production values of the the other one I posted.

So I have three concerts I'm going to in November so far. VMO album release party, tricot/Polysics show, and now Nothing's Carved in Stone.
Been a while since I met up with the singer, but he put me on the guest list for another show soon He hangs out with one of my favorite bands, so I really hope he will introduce me some time.
Edit: Listening to the VMO album makes me even more excited for the album release party. Should be crazy.

The b-sides are freaking amazing. One is a very Ken Yokohama/Hi-STANDARD ish song while the other has that epic ELLEGARDEN sound they sometimes had. Great stuff. Can't wait for a new full album.
Hosomi is still the GOAT, I'll never be let down by this guy. Two months until their live show, yeeeeeees.
EDIT : oh Scott is actually the one who wrote the b-sides. Now it makes sense that he's the one singing.
