I know the story is CM Punk saved his money and so he doesn't need to wrestle etc, but is he so thrifty that he borrowed his dad's suit? What the hell.

Cena owns a house the size of a small country yet goes around in the most laughably poor fitting suits.

Seriously why does it matter how he looks or dresses? Dude has money and AJ...what do we have? Well I have my wife, but what do you all have?

Yeah, he's also seen the Wire...is that tag team forming yet or not

I'm listening to some NXT songs and while there are some catchy tunes here some really don't fit as wrestling tunes.

I mean, imagine Sami doing a serious run in with it's current theme. Seems to happy.

John Cena broke his personal record of his longest television and PPV win streak at WWE BattleGround last night with 14 straight wins, per ProFightDB.com. His previous personal record of 13 straight TV and PPV wins was in early 2007.

Over coming the odds.

He needs a serious rework and needs to be actually given some character. Then maybe he'll have a better theme!

Duncan mentioned it in the chat last night but has Bray had a good match besides the one with Bryan? He's been running on good will from that + sympathy for being fed to Cena. I remember hearing his match with Jericho on NXT was good but I heard that from... Jericho. So I don't know. Their match last night was like Paige/AJ in a way: someone maybe not really that good vs someone returning with ring rust. I'm hoping they click at SummerSlam.

Reigns is gonna have a similar test against Orton, but I don't think Orton can carry Reigns to a good match.

Bray Wyatt has had good matches with Cena, unfortunately people let the finish overshadow the great work.

"That moment when you realize Dean Ambrose is just Jimmy Wang Yang cosplay"

Aiii

So not worth it
I thought this was pretty interesting. Chris Harrington (mookieghana) had a look at the first 100 televised matches of those on the WWE roster that have had one, just to see what they were doing at the time. Here's the list:
This made no sense to me so I checked his post on the F4W board. The match listed is the 100th televised match of each of these people. FYI.

He is an happy babyface that never gives up. People will love him.

Yeah... my first thought... did he rent it? lol

Fortunately the next crop of wrestlers seem to have a better grasp of suits. The Shield had some cool ones on the Slammy Awards.

Punk and Cena probably share the same tailor or something. I don't get it.

Howard Finkel just announced Rickey Medlocke from the 'legendary band' Blackfoot. I don't keep up with this kind of music, Stro or Sandman, is Blackfoot 'legendary' in 1995?

He actually does a REALLY good job. also NEW GENERATION

Bray Wyatt has had good matches with Cena, unfortunately people let the finish overshadow the great work.

I think I've just come to the point where I've accepted that John Cena matches are not for me. They appeal to a very specific (albeit large) subset of the audience and that will never change, so I can't get invested anymore.

I also feel this way about RVD and Chris Jericho but their subset of the audience is man-babies still pining for bygone eras.

Reigns is gonna have a similar test against Orton, but I don't think Orton can carry Reigns to a good match.

A lot of people liked the Cena Wrestlemania match and the Last Man Standing at Payback. Neither I liked all that much but I recall a lot of people did. Aside from that, eh. This is just my thinking but I believe a lot of people like the Bray Wyatt character and are willing to excuse shortcomings. It's fine. It happens.

Bray Wyatt has had good matches with Cena, unfortunately people let the finish overshadow the great work.
I feel like the only one that liked their Wrestlemania match.

I was disappointed with the finish though. It deflated Bray's character when he couldn't win a physical or psychological battle against Cena. The match itself was a victim of the feud being built up too much. To add drama they tried to make it seem like all of Cena's accomplishments would be invalidated and millions of hospitalized children would give up on life if Cena lost.

Yeah Wyatt had a good match with Sheamus & somehow had a decent match with Big Show as well. He's been good in all his tag matches where he's done more than just wait for a hot tag to finish the show.

Yeah, when it became about "John Cena's legacy will be destroyed if he loses" I submitted that Bray was losing. You can't build a match like that and have the heel win.

Woof, the WWF roster in 92 is a lot better shape than the WWF roster in 95 just by jumping from one wrestling challenge to one 3 years later.

Finished Wolfenstein: The New Order today. That was really really good. A perfect mix of old school with new style and it worked fabulously. Looked and played great on the Xbone too.

Bray Wyatt is sort of entering that place where Del Rio has been ever since 2011 Wrestlemania. Del Rio's "destiny" was to win the Rumble then win the WHC at Mania. He didn't win it there and has sort of been rudderless ever since.

Wyatt has had a couple of feuds wherein he excelled, the match was garbage against Kane but the buildup was interesting and weird enough to have a bit of hook. The Daniel Wyatt feud was interesting mostly because of the dynamic it represented for Bryan as he tried to point his ship at Wrestlemania, so there was enough emotional attachment that Bray didn't even have to do much.

Cena was okay at first but really it just seems like Bray has hit a point where he's being pointed in different directions and lacks a clear motivation.

Wesker, were the cockles of your heart as warm as mine when the crowd chanted "Daniel Bryan" last night?

I think part of the problem with all of these guys they want in the "main event or close to it" scene is that they're shoving them in and out of title pictures until they're ready. They'll be fine if you do it once or twice, but you can't do it often enough or you end up with Lex Luger and people give up on the chase because they end up just being the loser who never actually won the title. It's a difficult balance to achieve.

That's why I'm wondering where you go with Reigns going forward. It's obvious they want him in the main event scene, but he's going to face Orton at Summerslam and then likely H at Night of Champions. Where does he go from there? Do they put him back in the title picture? It's a long road to Mania if that's their plan.

I had a hearty laugh, I will admit.

LT also threw the best running forearm/elbow in the history of professional wrestling.

That's easy when you're legit throwing them as hard as you fucking can :p
Bam Bam Bigelow is a god for getting a decent match out of that man and getting a Mania main event payday out of it

Cena owns a house the size of a small country yet goes around in the most laughably poor fitting suits.
