Never followed the KARA member tryout show. Was under the impression, somehow, Youngji could sing (at least better than Hara). Fit, but not pretty enough to be a studio booth singer.

The bold wouldn't shock me. Despite Sera being the heart and soul of 9 Muses, they can more easily move on than she can. I've also never seen her as a solo artist, as I have no idea what sound and approach she'd take, but I think most of us want her to keep singing, acting or anything, really.

Ah, when these guys kept popping up on the music shows this weekend, we (I) called them 'Amish Cuddler feat. guitar guy'. Didn't realize 'guitar guy' was a part of the group, the different shows couldn't decide whether or not to keep the spotlight on him.

You're missing the point here. What I'm saying is if Syoung and Yoona never debuted with the group in the first place, then talent wise they'd be at the same place as they are right now. The other 7 are already more talented than most of their peers in the industry, adding the two to the group just increased their visual talent as you said.

And of course if you're bringing in money and all that factors to the issue, then it becomes a whole different thing. Hindsight is 20/20 after all.

From the idol-dome, maybe. Has also her share of antis, specially whenever is compared in anyway with the "true" actresses for whatever. But even general population is aware of her, and had always a nice image so it can be said she's at least generally liked.
