Looks really good, but I don't really like how there are so many overlaying color effects in the game. Colors are good, but instagram-ish effects are not (don't get jumpy at my use of "instagram", you get what i'm referring to).
Just downloaded it to my ipad at work!!!! Dayum!!! This and Rosengun will keep me occupied for a while!!!

You should use this if you want a proper player and HW acceleration:

You can thank me later ;-)
It's the gif dithering.

hm
not too impressed by any of it really, gameplay looks beyond basic and the visuals are a rung below Crysis 3/BF4.
After watching this footage vs. the Eurogamer BF4 PS4 mp footage It's absolutely crazy how much better this looks than BF4. They look like two separate generations apart.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Hmm. Big KZ2 fan here (not so much KZ3).
It looks... good for multiplayer. If this were playing at a nice solid 60fps (felt like 30 in the video), very good for multiplayer.
But other than some of the details like the gun model, I did not get a "next gen" feel from this video.

Explain this "next gen" feel.
Wait, what? It looked like a perfect 60fps through the whole thing.
It really does. The guns in BF4 look so basic in comparison, the texture quality and lighting is world's apart.
I get that BF4 has more scale, but it just looks dull in comparison. Everything is improved in KZ:SF. I think the difference between a cross-gen engine versus one developed ground up is on full display.

I completely understand where youre coming from, our audio guys are super-passionate and they (painfully) remind us how audio is under-rated in games. People appreciate it, but they find it hard to pinpoint what it is they love about the experience. Theyre more inclined to think its the visuals that impress than then the audio It is tricky to judge for most people though, audio is so omnipresent and subtle!
One thing we also noticed is that automatic downmixes arent always the best solution, we mix specifically for multichannel and stuff like phase-inversion or cross-panning tricks get lost on a simple downmix. So we are trying to optimize for Stereo systems specifically as we know a lot of people have them and a simple 7.1 -> 2 downmix wont do the audio experience justice.

I hope youll be happily surprised by KZ:SF. The team put in a lot of effort to make this game stellar for audio enthusiasts, with new systems like early reflections for gun sounds (a system we call MADR), tying in music to sound effects with dynamic mixers and much more. Were looking at doing some presentation on the subject at conferences and hope to put them on our website too for you all to enjoy. No promises yet, but were working on it!
Ill ask our audio team if they maybe want to put up some audio example videos with proper multi-channel audio for the crowd that wants to hear what the game *sounds* like. Thanks for the suggestion
I have no idea what any of this mean but you guys most likely will!

Agreed. Compare this shot from BF4:

As you can, the notion that there's a clear delineation between a "current-gen engine" and a "next-gen engine" is on full display here.

I hope none of the people complaining about how this looks like "more of the same" also complained about the vehicles in KZ3.

Sound is just as important as graphics in immersing you into the experience.
Gentlemen
let us not forget the actual sound design. Shit has come quite a bit of ways since KZ2 (which honestly sounds a bit flat nowadays, I know because I beat it again last week). It's outstanding and sounds like it's already surpassed KZ3's amazing SFX.
Not following you.

I only saw it keep a steady 60 for a few seconds at the beginning, and a few seconds around 43s in. Otherwise it's a high unlocked framerate between 30 and 60, most likely with triple buffering.Just download the HQ vid. Immediately saw the 60fps difference. Everything looks gravy.
No need for crazy hyperbole
