Kim Jong-un's ex-lover 'executed by firing squad' (Up: or not)

Do you think they suddenly burst into your cell and gun you down? No, you'd have to walk out to the yard, kneel down, watch the guards readying their guns and preparing to fire.

Both ways would have horrible periods of waiting first, but at least a direct mortar strike is guaranteed to obliterate you while bullets could leave you gasping for air or bleeding out.

Yes but a firing squad is over as soon as the act begins, being mortared isn't.

Unless of course you aren't killed right away, as I said. If you're lying there writhing on the ground with a collapsed lung you'll wish you could have sat there for 30 seconds listening to a mortar come down.

Unlikely to happen when there is like 7 or 8 shooters. What happens if the mortar doesn't explode properly or you run away at the last second losing your legs to shrapnel? We can spend all day making what if stories up.

U.S wont do shit against NK because NK can actually fight back. Millions and millions of brainwashed people with mil training (i believe military enrollment at a certain age is mandatory in NK) fighting for a living God are far more dangerous and vicious than taliban terrorists.

Of course they are technically not as powerful as America, but once you have bombarded NK into dust, you have to send troups on the ground, and thats where things get crazy. It's kinda like Vietnam

Don't worry, people forget so quickly these days. No one brings up the fact that NK was basically attempting to hold the world hostage only a few months ago, making daily threats at SK and the US, promising a rain of fire any day now.

Kim Jong-Un will be firmly seated in the meme picture threads again and will be hailed as "cool" as soon as the Dennis Rodman pics bubble back to the top.

I thought I was the only one who gets aggravated by that.

All 12 were machine-gunned three days later, with other members of North Korea's most famous pop groups and their immediate families forced to watch. The onlookers were then sent to prison camps, victims of the regime's assumption of guilt by association, the reports stated.
Holy shit. There is so much crazy in just this one paragraph.

My brother works as a Tour Operator for North Korea.

He claims everything we see and hear about North Korea is just western propaganda. All hail most dear and benevolent leader.
Of course that's what he says. He'd be executed otherwise.

In my opinion there is no place overrun with more evil in this world than North Korea. I truly wish something could be done about the atrocities that go on in that country on a daily basis.

A Kim Jong-Un defense force? Give me a break. If your daddy and your family are revered like gods in a country and you can live there and rule with an iron fist and live like a king, you will.

What are the sources even to suggest he was bullied and teachers handled it poorly?

I bet he intimidated and bullied other kids. Not sure why you're blaming Switzerland or their teachers for the plight of the North Koreans under a dictatorial family.

I wouldn't treat that as an absolute. Didn't his older brother defect?

Ever heard of Nazi Germany? This happened in the country with the greatest achievements in art, philosophy and science.

"In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo dictator."

It's this country, the world largest prison (a entire country for fuck's sake) that should've been -legitimately- attacked a long time ago. Before even think about invading Iraq a second time. This mad dog can create a third world war. The main reason they will not attack it is because China will not tolerate it and we are far to dependent on China, trade wise (they are depended on the West as well). A second reason could be that you are fighting a completely brainwashed large army, but also a population that will resist incredibly long, and some of N Korea's terrain requires lots of ground troops. Plus soldiers are fighting starving humans, that will take a mental toll. But what happens there is so inhumane lots of extreme dictators pale in comparison. N Korea's is a outrage against humanity.

Not that I know that much about it, but China is, even though they send food there, really critical of NK.

Just look at the news there when NK made some weapon-tests. Chinese were criticising it. I dont really think China really cares that much about NK.

I don't it as much to do with that they will give the US a big challenge so they are "scared" but rather they may destroy South Korea before the US can effectively destroy them.

The NK regime being allowed to exist is a shit stain on humanity.

The US won't do anything because they are at least nuclear capable and China won't allow us to do anything. SK would probably get pretty fucked just out of spite.

I'll say it again: Kim Jong-Un used to visit a private school in Switzerland when he was a child and was bullied there. If the teachers would have handled the situation better, he might not have become the man he is today.

I'm not saying he got like that because of the bullying. I'm sure he was forced into this by the military and government. But if the teachers would have taught him some fucking common sense maybe he would have known better than to return to North Korea.

Yeah we all know how studies at a private school in Switzerland - which I imagine is Le Rosey - can be an horrendous experience.

I mean being bullied by the sons and daughters of the filthiest rich people on earth, this alone justifies the use of Mortar later in your life...

Think again. Just empty words.

Certainly not, I've always considers it to be in extremely poor taste. I always it was perpetuated by younger people who just haven't spent enough time on this earth, or read enough history, to understand the impact that regime has had.

Read a bit of NorK history, this sounds like a Tuesday.

Reading the history makes me question it even more.

Especially the bible part. Seems like a direct ploy to tug on the heart strings of westerners because "We loves us sum Jeebus" over here.

The situation in North Korea is absolutely unsustainable, especially with Un as their leader, but the amount of factors that result in the Kim regime to fall is terribly thorny. Not to mention a people's uprising is most likely out of the question due to the intense cult of personality that's indoctrinated.

I wonder if the intense meth addiction that's plagued the country will be some sort of X factor?

Then you are naive or willfully ignorant on North Korea. There are plenty of first hand accounts of how the government operates there and nothing in that news article is remotely surprising considering some of the horrifying things they have done to their own people over the decades.
