pillowknight won actually, it sort of turned into a deathmatch mode towards the end

Pillow always wins, sadly. He's better at TKing since he uses the autoshotgun. The assault rifle just doesn't do damage fast enough for effective TKing.
 
Pillow only won because he went idle and came back after we all pretty much killed each other already. I'm still smiling thinking about when Fallengorn threw an explosive canister towards my incapacitated body and then watching him get pounced by a hunter before he can shoot it. M.J. Doja comes to save him and a tank busts in and tears them apart. I was incapacitated for minutes and ended up living longer than the both of them. :lol

Tried to run it, but it takes almost 5 minutes just to start the intro, after that it gets stuck on the loading screen. Couldn´t even reach the main menu.
I played SiN - Episodes and it runned fine. So did HL2-Lost Coast. No clue why this is happening.
Bummer!
 
Playing single player so I don't fuck up someone's good time. Loving this game, have to try and justify to the wife spending the $23 (yeah, money is that tight around here lately).

Source games have always run well on old machines but lately they seem to need a lot more horsepower.
 
So many noobs playing! :(

Had some guy on my team run ahead and die to a hunter while yelling that we should be helping him, at the same time a person who said it was their first game ran up to a witch and meleed her in the face.

If you play with me tonight, I promise I won't do this. :D And yes, it'll be my first time playing but I'm not an idiot either and have watched enough videos of the game to have a general idea for how to play. Basically being my first time I'm going to try not to do anything stupid and just watch how other people play.

thats easy enough to do when playing as the survivors, but if you play vs, you cant help but be a noob as an infected. you dont know the timings or the strategies.
 
Yeah, I am not going to play this online for another few months. :lol

I beat the demo on 360, but for some reason I'm stuck in the subway and can't find the exit. :lol

I'm not sure about all the different modes, but I'm assuming I should probably start out with campaign.

well, you could, but theres nothing wrong with being a noob in vs. basically its campaign mode except humans control the "special" zombies when youre the survivors, and vice versa. id just play vs and learn as i go.

tried playing no mercy on expert with 3 bots...they suck. they wont turtle dammit! :lol

Well players without mics can still play well as long as they know how to communicate. Like Red Scarlet is the fastest person to ever type 'help' when she needs it!

Except she will wait until 5-10 seconds after being pounced, so she isn't "talking too much". And then she will type help, so everyone will look around to wonder where she is. :D

Well duh. But she responds quickly, she just takes years to ask for help, I mean. And by then you've run halfway across the map and you're wondering where she is, duhhhh.

Well I make sure to pay attention to my teammates as much as possible, duhhh.
 
So epic, got my sisters boyfriend to try it. Really hope he buys it.
 
I have 'help' binded to the h key. If no one sees/frees me after about 4 seconds, then I'll hit it. It's not necessary to say every time I get pounced/smoked, so I give the team a few seconds to start coming towards me. If I don't see someone after that time, then I'll hit it because they may not see me or if they are boomed/busy with something. It's kind of annoying to say it every time it happens, especially when it is in clear view of someone on the team. *cough*

Yes I love these free weekends! :D I haven't loaded up steam in a while.

Ahh is it only free for a couple more hours? :/ Won't be worth it to download then play for maybe only a half hour.

Yes, this always suprises me. I keep a good eye on my team but 99% of the rest I play with never seem to do this. Maybe all these years of Counter-Strike has given me an edge.
 
Holy shit, I just finished a single-player No Mercy run and it took 5 tries to get to da choppah. I got 7 achievements though which was nice. My mouse is way too goddamn sensitive lol.

bind <key> "vocalize PlayerDeath" and then spam :lol

say and say_team are what you use to have a message appear in chat.
 
My free trial said it still has 1.3 hours left, but I just bought the game 2 seconds ago anyway. :)

Anyone want to start a new game with me (and hopefully more) in about half an hour or so? Steam ID is Incision.
