Is Women's Gymnastics pretty much the only Olympic competition where it pretty much favors youth over experience? It was nice seeing Gabby win and all, but I can't help but wonder what it does to a lot of these girls mentally when they don't win since they're usually the ones who are most notably in tears.
What is it now, men individual?
Finally no more fanboyism.
I can start gushing over Larry Godfrey being kawaii or something if you like.

Is this Godfrey with archery? If archery wasn't such an inconsistent sport then I'd be harder on him. The guy is a great archer so what can you do?Another British competitor who doesn't seem disappointed about being knocked out because he had a good time anyway.
How dafuq does a human do that.
Her dismount is unreal and almost too good to be true.

McKayla Maroney's vault at 2:50.
Also, check out the slo-mo at 4:08 and look at the judge's expression to the left of her at 4:30.

Try not to address Korey directly (as you would a normal human being). It'll only encourage his trolling.Do you think that the Americans faked the landing?
What country? I'm only following via text updates in the London 2012 app.(Archery)
Cute chestguard's in trouble; 4-0 down. He was shooting better on previous eliminations.

Yeah Godfrey. He seems like a decent guy and I'm sure he tried his best so I'm probably being a bit harsh. I'm just beginning to wonder if the home crowd is really an advantage, some of the British competitors seem to be enjoying the occasion so much they lose their killer instinct.
He's also a part-time archer and not one of the ones who spend every waking moment training (which I guarantee you the South Koreans do).Yeah Godfrey. Archery isn't really a sport that requires controlled agression that can be boosted by crowd support. If anything you need to be calm and controlled when doing it.but some totally use it to their advantage, like the rowers and the cyclists. it's the same at any olympics, there's always disappointments and underwhelming performances, home crowd or not. the team is in a pretty excellent position after yesterday now.
and the archery guy hardly choked, he got beaten in one of those brutal shootoffs.
