No food genjutsu reactions, but I still liked the chapter. Wish Soma did his usual band on head things as he prepares for action but the final panel was still good for him. Hope he crushes the meat master.

I like to imagine that whenever he gets the script or whatever, he reads through it and just rips out entire pages whenever things start to make sense.

Coming back from the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 plot synopsis thread, I'm really wondering ... do you guys read US comics too?
I tried to read X-Men few years back, but I just can't deal with the art. I think it's mostly the body proportions that throw me off.
Examples of the villain "Rhino" from the Spider-Man thread.
I'm sure it's not all bad and there's obviously bad art in manga too, but even the big comic series can look really terrible.
Funny you should mention X-Men: my fav. run of the series is by Grant Morrison and that has some really unimpressive art, which is unfortunate as the writing is superb.
FYI that Ultimate Spiderman had the same artist for nearly 100+ issues and was well written for the most part.
Getting used to comic book art takes time, but you can always ask for good comics with art style that would interest you at the comics thread ;3
I read on another forum that it was so it might, more like probably, be incorrect. From what I have read about the dude writing it though, Maijo Otaro, it sounds like Oh Great really did find a guy crazier than him.

Nope, my cheapest option (including domestic shops) is importing from Amazon US. Playasia's free shipping saves me ~50 dollars in importing, so they're lifesavers!

Its so good Saki san has an understanding co worker, though I guess the large age difference is something people would bring up. Guess like last chapter, Saki would hold off telling juns parents. Anyway the whole scenes with the friend there observing and questioning was nice, and just lots of fluffy scenes. More Jun's blushes are always great too see.

It's evolving into a better political drama than editorial, which is fine. The manga logic is beginning to tone down as well, which suits me better. There's still a certain amount of pettiness to the characters that tends to make me question their motivations in a way that seems unintentional rather than multifaceted. That said, I'm enjoying the manga more as I go along, which is of course the strength and weakness of serialization.

At least stick with it til the end of the Arlong park arc (next arc) if after that you still aren't feeling it then quit. Arlong park is more of an indication of where the series will be going then the first few arcs.

I wonder if a major loss would cause the mangas rank to tumble.
Is that where he's doing the chakra nature training with tons of clones? I'm not sure how long the manga did it, but the anime I believed had it go across 3-5 episodes with a few nights and days.

I read chps 1-18 of this like 6 months ago and then completely forgot about it. So naturally the next chapter would be the last one. I couldn't really remember what was happening, but I think it was pretty bad anyway so I'm not gonna bother refreshing my memory. There was yuri and stuff.

His first major loss will probably happen after he has won a few Shougeki, and only when the stakes aren't him leaving. Of course he could be like Azuma from Yakitate and never lose.
I read it a while back and thought it was pretty good, if not a little creepy. Middle school girl wanting to marry her teacher/foster parent is a little creepy.

I wouldn't recommend a kindle for manga. The paperwhite is 2GB only with no slots for expandable memory, and while the kindle store has a great selection of books, the selection for manga is terrible, unless you like to read the worst softcore porn.
For manga I'd recommend the nexus 7. The size is pretty much perfect for manga as it's around the same size as a regular tankobon, the screen has a higher density than the ipad mini and also, cheap.
