NAAAARRRRUUUUUUTTTTOOOO! God I love that manga. the writing is balls to the wall amazing. Frankly I think Kishis love for plot twists and world buildings is what sets him apart from any other author. Kishi understands how to write a novel, he speaks to you on a level that you just can't get a feeling for. A feeling so complicated. The only issue is he made Itachi so powerful.

Madara and Tobi just seem weak in comparison. Itachi is smart, he's gorgeous, he's super powerful and he can turn SSJ. Think you got him? Lol, no tsukiyomi GG. Amaretsu, GG. Susanoo, GG. You can't beat Itachi because he'll kill you dead before you've even hit the ground.

I'm pretty sure we unanimously agree Nardo is bollocks. Me and like 2 other people generally think Bleach is the best, so, yeah, that's a thing.

Well, no. Itachi and Sasuke prove you are not correct. The whole series is a master piece in writing. it's like being in love, but, realizing your g/f was never real and you've been kissing your dog the entire time.

He is saying that One Piece gets better as you're going along because of the building of the world and the focus on the larger narrative. You were originally responding to someone saying they are sick of waiting for One Piece to get better by saying there is no jump in quality and it never gets better. How are those two views not in opposition?

I meant the comment about the phrase had nothing to do with his opinion on One Piece. I didn't address his opinion at all.

One Piece does seem to draw people in quite well imo. Although I leave my mangas lying around quite a lot. For some reason people have been picking it up and reading it. Although if it wasn't for the bollocks plot holes I would personally prefer bleach. Naruto never really grabbed me. DBZ has a special place in my heart and Toriko is just like waking up in a nightmare where everyone is killing each other over food for better taste. One Punch man is the best though. :p

Transfer student difficulties with fitting in and with the one tasked to showing him around, Ioyohi, led to interesting scenes for him. The near fight at the club with the bartender lady was intense and bloody. Like the direction its going especially with the surprise kiss at the end. If only this could be more than one volume, though it is plenty of time for Ioyogi to get over his social anxieties.

it doesnt matter what any of you say, its all about taste and opinion. we dont have real reasons why one is better than the other its just i prefer this or i like this one or that sucks. there is no one best manga, unless you are measuring on how much they sale, its all preference and opinion. and remember opinions are like butts everyone has one.

When I think of the manga I personally consider contenders for the worst, a lot of them
are in there for completely different reasons.

So an absolute worst manga is still concievable in the future.

Fucking died at this point XD

I may post a RTTP thread later, but now that I'm more versed in Shonen I started to replay Jump Ultimate and the first thing that changed was I knew more then 20% of the cast lol. There are still some series I know almost nothing about like Buso Renkin or Eyeshield 21 but I guess this game will help expose me to them more a bit for whenever I get around to reading them. I do remember from the first time I played thinking that gameplay wise Naruto was pretty meh while Luffy was pretty awesome (knew of them but nothing about their series) it's nice now seeing all their attacks and going OOOOOHHHH I get it now.

I thought this was pretty good. I like that it didn't try to explain too much of the game and over burden the first chapter with the basic understanding of it. Only thing that really bothered me was the talks of the MC needing a better setter when it really wouldn't help much in the situation, he just needed a better team in general and someone to be prepared for the block.

I was thinking it was going to go along like Eyeshield until the end.

Ease of access probably 999 and VLR, I'd use them as spring boards because they're 70% reading 30% actual puzzle gameplay. That thread list a lot of out of print games or games never released in English so to play them you have to do some google searching.

I like that they dont try to go over rules and all that stuff indepthly, but spread it out over some matches and chapters, unlike Cross Manage which through tons of rules and explanation in one early chapter :/

Well you see in the old version of the sharingans they had a clear disadvantage against taijutsu users. (cause they could take the class feat "ignore eyes n'shit")

To compensate for that they got the prestige class "LOL SUDDENLY SKELETON" to protect their frail emo bodies against this clear class unbalance.

To balance the possible unfair advantage this might give sharingan users, they also revised the transplantation limit on eyes. This way characters from any class can take advantage of some of the cool intense new Sharingan features and spells without suffering from "tired Kakashi syndrome"

In the end it all balances out.

Do you want Porn or non-porn?

If non-porn, 999 and VLR are your starting points, and the DS and PSP both have a bunch of them in English, ranging from mystery (Hotel Dusk) to otome (Hakuoki).

If porn is more your thing.... probably just go to Jast USA's website and pick the game with whatever cover catches your eyes.

And don't do what I did and make Enzai the first VN you play

Welp, that was every bit as depressing as the movie if not more because the story is told in a much more detailed way in the manga, the third part of the story is actually comprehensible now. It's great that Sanae didn't get shafted this time, I really like how her part of the story turns out but I was scratching my head at the undisclosed figure at the end (I assume it's supposed to be Takaki?), that was entirely unnecessary.
This is one of the rare anime to manga adoptions which have a right to exist, I'd almost say that it's actually better than the movie because the story is much more fleshed out and the character design much more solid but I do miss Shinkai's scenery porn and Tenmon's soundtrack. Highly recommended unless you already have suicidal thoughts, that could end badly.
