I knew HxH would probably come up. Thing is, Togashi's art has always been pretty mediocre (if not worse), so that didn't bother me that much. Conversely, Qwaser was legitimately great-looking before volume 7.

It actually has incredible art but Togashi was in pretty bad health for a long time. Most all the sketchy art is cleaned up for the volume releases and when he really wants to he can blow you away:

I'd disagree as the panel more than accomplished what Togashi set out to when drawing it. I think he's a pretty good artist who just took shit care of himself and it showed in a lot of his work for a long time.
