Ace of Diamond 57 - 60
BhMGNYgCQAEBJiZ.png

Poor Tanba so much blood even falling out there, first time seeing a chin injury in my brief time with the baseball. I dont want him as ace though so it makes me feel weird. Oh well, hopefully Furuya, Kawakami, and Eijun step it up to be prepared in time.

Watching this interview with Araki by Shoko Nakagawa and she's fangirling like crazy

Part 1
Part 2

On the question which Stand he would choose:

Araki: "And your choice is Star Platinum, right?"
Shoko: "I want to be beaten up by him."
Araki: "I hope your dream will come true."

Magi 215

So Salomon looked a bit like Sinbad.
However not the chapter I expected, sounds like the details of what cause the destruction of Alma Torran will be forthcoming in the next chapters.

It's good to finally know the antagonist's motive. His daughter seems pretty cool, I hope she also gets a power once she's cured. It's nice of Jee-Han to grind his healing technique for her, too.

Realistically, it has to get there eventually. But it'll most likely just be a case of the main story ending with a "continued in Arashi" thing.

Arashi actually added developments and stuff so it's not just a "more serious S&M" spin-off.

I honestly expect something like that where it pretty much reaches that "transition" point then i'll just jump over, hopefully.

its funny that we now assume certain things have failed
(like the president and his sister scheming to not let them realize their feelings)
due to Arashi but know i want to see how that stuff played out (currently we have the pres getting help from Kaoru and his porn bros and how much of an asshole his sister is LOL) .

Hmmm, not hard to understand, but not too much was said about the god of Alma Toran. I guess they'll leave it at that, but is he supposed to be ״the original״, or just a person in a different world like Solomon, or what.

Surprised Ithnan was around back then too.

Endou-kun no Jikken Note 2
Endou and Tsuda made it on a cover. The girl getting in the way of their thing was a bit annoying but kind of alright in the end with her and her friend at least being accepting of Endou and Tsuda's relationship. Too often people in the series try to make them seem weird. The job stuff with Tsuda making the friendship and relationship suffer is more painful. If only endou could understand, or perhaps they need to make up time elsewhere.

Makes me wonder what the big damn moment is that signifies the end of the regular series. Or if it's just a case of running out of time and hitting the time period for Arashi and forced into it.

...actually, aren't they close to that point? They're like really close to Summer by now, aren't they?

Imawabi no Dakini 2-3

Just let her control the body 24/7.

Makes protecting her that much more simple (i.e. not having to see her choke to death) and lets Fox Goddess appear more frequently instead of the boring childhood friend.

Every time I see the D-Frag posts, I want to read it because Takao but then I get sad because she's probably not going to be winning girl (if there even could be a winning girl).

...that's a terrible reason, huh.

don't worry

you will learn to love the funabori instead

She can always be the winning girl in your heart

I'm planning on reading it after the anime ends, but from what I seen if anyone does win I hope it's her too. But yeah best girl rarely wins. :/

Magi 215

What an info dump, I kinda rushed through the chapter so I'm gonna have to re-read it just to get everything. Also that yandere looking girl was the evil magi or the queen of the Kou empire, umm Gyokuen right?

Itsuka Tomodachi ja Nakunaru to Shite mo 2

Kids in these manga are the best and just completely ushered in an amazing scene to finally let him making the winning kiss move. Though he was sleeping he still felt the trembling lips. I wonder when confrontation will happen.

The Okinawa trip was probably the most fun school trip arc I've ever read in a manga. I may have to re-read School Rumble to verify this.

I wonder what would that be as well (prez making his move and failing?) and i think they are just starting senior year (Nana while still in 2A did the graduation speech for the most recent batch which should include the prez's sister)?

is that where
Noburu and Anko settled their differences
? if so then yea that arc was great.

more great content to come imo (i really liked the final arc tbh)

Imawabi no Dakini 1-9
I actually didn't really want to read this. I skimmed chapter 8 a while ago and found it too gory for my tastes. Even reading the first chapter didn't really compel me, since I found the childhood friend to be bland. But I have to say, this really did grow on me. It's not so much investment in the plot as it is investment in the character development. Toume grew a lot more than I thought she would, Dakini is surprisingly pretty cool when before I found her vulgar and gross (well... she's still vulgar, but in a good way), and Fushimi isn't completely engulfed in the cliched hero archetype as I thought he would be. Who knows if I'll keep reading it, but it wasn't as bad as my first impression made me think it would be.

The Flow Stream: Reflux 34 - 35

Unfortunately it went how I didnt want it to go, with human chess being interrupted for war stuff. Still the action was good and the pacing fast. The decapitation was scary.

That's weird though, considering Hinagiku will win

I keep telling myself this.

Then again, I'm like ... forever behind on Hayate.

And Arashi takes place during the Summer of their senior year, doesn't it?

So it's either a full year to go or ... maybe right after the current arc. Which, honestly, would actually make a lot of sense.

I think it has to end with Nana and kaoru both going to the same college. It's building it up too much to not happen.

Mikazuki Ryuu Ibun 03

Man that was definitely an intense battle. I mean I know it follows history but still pretty impressed at how Masamune isn't getting along or even winning battles that I expected him to.

And everyone continues to be so handsome.

If it does, wouldn't that be during Arashi though? Like, Arashi's whole background story is that Nana tags along to study for entrance exams with Tachibana so the main story can't resolve something about that, right?

I agree that it seems like they kind of have to deal with that eventually but I also think that the collar and basically all of Arashi are trying to find answers that go beyond just the both of them attending the same school.

Dunno. I just want more chapters :x

All You Need Is Kill 1-7
Kind of uninteresting. The protagonist isn't very compelling, and neither is the war. I do find the fact that the heroine is also looping interesting though. I guess I'll wait for that to be explained before I drop this.

Chihayafuru 125 - Slightly interesting first round. Pretty much winners being exactly who I expected to win overall. I wonder just when the confession will be responded to.

I'm torn. I'm disappointed that they didn't show more of the loops but, at the same time, I'm relieved that maybe it's actually getting somewhere.

Honestly, if not for the art I probably wouldn't think twice about reading it until it's all done :/

Nana to kaoru black label - 42

Yesssssssassssss!! Great job

Edit: NO! NO MORE CHAPTERS!

I am sorry for your loss.

Going to guess that Arashi will end once they actually do it. For real. Then there's a to be continued for the main series.

The whole of Arashi has been a side thing so far. Don't see them going beyond that.
