This is not as bad as Suzuka, is actually even quite decent. Nothing really amuzing but the main girl is nice unlike Suzuka.

It was pretty interesting how Kago took the base concept from his brilliant WW2 "Gundam" manga and twisted it into yet another equally brilliant work. One of the better things I've read from BASED KAGO though I still think Anamorphosis, Fraction, and THAT oneshot are his best works to date.

gonna skip out on boys as its still not finished yet which is a shame but i really liked this month long readathon of cool and lesser known series. hopefully it becomes a more frequent thing in the future (maybe a quarterly thread in ot urging peeps to read more than just the big 3/berserk/shitgeki etc idk)

Got some hype chills from the prospect of Esdeath vs Budo which was immediately undermined by fuckin Mein of all people neutralizing the latter, even if only for a moment. The fact the dude got flustered kind of wrecks the whole image he was going for.

Tengu>No.5>Gundam>Banana>Super Conductive Brain>Munou is probably my rating as of now. Parasyte somewhere in top 5 or so. Kinda want to switch around Gundam and Banana sometimes.
Was an enjoyable book club. Wish more people had joined it. Would have probably never read any of these (or at least would have had to exhaust ALOT more) without joining this.

Man this is pretty good. Almost fills the hole left by Kids on the Slope. Love the characters, especially Tsubaki. It's so obvious though that Kaori has some sickness. Wonder how Friend A will take it because I will break down most likely.

The higher the immediate danger, the more powerful Pumpkin gets, its weaknesses is the fact that it overheats, taking a lot of time to get going again.

0 tension, I never once felt nervous for the characters.
It's such a generic shounen-ish take on the whole thing, Aside from the backstory where he was hinted to be small, he didn't really commit any hideous act 7 sevens ago. It was shown to be more of an accident, thereby diminishing any of his notoriety. I wish the author never tried going with this route. Well, at least after this arc, the two would get to be closer together.

While I never really feared for the character ( and really don't like this arc since those 2 brothers were such bad characters ), I find you quite forgiving about what happened 7 years ago. I mean look at her face when she is fleeing
and die in the process.
