The last 10 or so chapters of this got pretty ridiculous. The ending was pretty much what I thought it would be. Overall not a bad series, it was funny most of the time and I liked the characters. The serious stuff has all been done before in other idol series but it was done well enough. I'd give O/A an 8/10.

Yeah, fuck Tama. She's not even that bad, but they way she went about trying to get in Yuu's pants was annoying.
Also, if you want to fulfill a childhood promise with your destined one to play in a band together, pretty much the WORST thing you can do is have an all-consuming career as a chart-topping solo idol. She would've been better off rope-a-doping the musical world as some crappy school band vocalist and then reuniting with Yuu after high school so he could ride on her coattails.
I mean, in logic land, obviously she should put her career ahead of some stupid childhood promise with someone she hadn't seen in years, but Tama seemed fine with going tilt and potentially torpedoing said career to get with him, so I'm just pointing out how her career path was detrimental to her goals.

I liked it. It's a nice one shot about a yazkua now becoming an angel for whatever reason. Good does of comedy, wouldn't mind seeing this become a full series.

She could have just told him "I like you and want to go out with you" when she reunited with him the first time instead of fucking pussyfooting around blushing and saying nothing. That's kind of how it works in real life - if you just do and say nothing, the person you like is gonna just find someone else.
Also, basically everyone in the entire love triangle is a genius vocalist. Sara's not really in the triangle, but she's the Eddie Van Halen of the group.
Most of my post wasn't really about how she tried to get with Yuu, mainly that her life choices were at odds with her desire to fulfill her promise with him. Obviously, if she just cared about dating him rather than playing in a band with him, she could've just asked him out at any point.

Some more LN fun. Dual negotiations with the world of plants and the world of falling (or mechanical dragons). Oh, and America shows up in the name of justice to take charge, but ends up conceding and letting the current organization do as they please. It's always fun seeing how these different works portray America, and it was neat finding out that this didn't fall into any of the ones I usually see. At least not completely. Well, assembled what seems to be the main and final team, so I'm expecting a bigger arc in the next volumes.

First impressions of some characters:
Soma is an alright dude. I like his twisted side that has him forcing failed experiments down people's throats.
Erina seemed like a beauty full of herself and her tasting ability but fair. That was until she judged Soma's cooking. My impression of her did a 180, she's full of herself and full of shit. I don't like her.
Tadokoro is an alright girl and looks like a good candidate to take the place of the childhood friend as the guinea pig to sample Soma's failures.

The other two factions are both secretly pacted with Akiyama and will go off the plan soon, leading to Yokoya to pay them for their cooperation, at which point they both betray Yokoya and Akiyama appeals to reveal he already had a three way pact by the time Yokoya tried to establish his pact, and that the secret rich guy dad who would pay for the missing money was actually Yokoya.

I just thought she was the person who wanted everything, specifically a promising career and recovering a long lost love life. The logic behind her putting the childhood promise ahead of her career was she probably wouldn't be the same person as she is now if she didn't make that promise earlier in her life.

I thought it'd be a kind of rip on Bakuman but it's not at all. The only thing I wish is more of a focus. There is a lot of superfluous explanation about things that don't really matter much. It's world building I suppose but it's not too interesting when going into the history about some non-existing manga. Also, Rin, who's an interesting heroine, isn't in it enough. I want to see more of Rin and the main character though I assume that is still coming.

Seriously though, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE....unless you have a very thick skin. This manga does not hold back in its nudity, and didn't need it either.
I do give it a 7 out of 10 though just because its crazy outlandish, and its great that way.

Checked out Hetakoi due to the posts here and it was alright but boy did shit escalate quickly in the middle half.

and when he finally decided to quickly take action after reading one everything went to shit since he read it really badly LOL
I think Hetakoi was definitely an improvement over her previous borderline H work but I don't think it was good. More towards mediocrity. RIP
