I want them to do a complete adaptation of Bendis's run on Alias. There is plenty of room in 1 season to do the whole series plus an origin episode to get things started.

I haven't read it, but you think 13 episodes would be enough to do a complete adaptation of it? + an origin episode... so is 12 episodes enough?

if theres one character that doesnt need an origin episode its Jessica, start her off as a private investigator and send her on her way alias was a great book. They skipped on the origin as well few flash backs.

Indeed. Remember her origin from Alias requires an established team of Avengers for her to have been a part of. They'll pretty much have to write her a completely new origin, or perhaps say she was a part of SHIELD before the series opens.

They're going to have to rejigger a lot of things for all four series.

Well I figure each issue is roughly the equivalent of 30 minutes of screen time. So each episode can cover 2 issues worth of happenings.

What's cool is that Bendis included Matt Murdock and Luke Cage in the book so there is built in connectivity with the other series.

I think her being a foreign SHIELD agent that maybe only Cap knew about is all that needs to change for her. Nothing has to change for Cage or Daredevil, IMO.

Now, white savior kung fu action dude....he's going to raise some eyebrows, ala Tommy in The Last Samurai.

Demetrius Grosse could be Cage.

I'm all for Terry Crews, but Grosse would be an acceptable substitute.

So when is Howard the Duck hitting the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
I'm dead serious by the way I want to see him on the big screen......or at least the netflix screen I suppose.

What is the story with the I'm not daredevil shirt? That's a costume in Marvel Heroes (the game) and I thought it was a joke

I would love to see Howard the Duck again. I wish people would stop getting hung up over the movie from the 80s it isn't even that bad and a modern version is going to be totally different anyway.

Someone should "tweet" Gunn and ask if Howard the Duck makes a cameo appearance in GotG, and if not, is it too late to add one?

I don't know if Terry Crews has dramatic chops but he's certainly a hilarious performer.
This could be to Crews what Batman(1989) was to Michael Keaton. Before that movie came out many people didn't think Keaton could do a convincing Batman since he was previously known for his comedy movies.

I'm no fan of Loeb, but I nonetheless have trouble buying that one person can be singularly responsible for everything wrong with Marvel's TV efforts. I still have hope!

Regardless, live-action TV really should be centralized under Marvel Studios.
