I wonder why those huts and houses are encased in glass. Makes me think it's like an open air museum of sorts?

Wakanda also has it feet in its history and its future. It's possible folks who want to, still live in those, but the glass protects it from the elements.

Don't you people have heritage districts zoned for preservation? We have those here. Old buildings, old landmarks, which can't be torn down or bought out for redevelopment. I just think this is the advanced Wakanda form of it where they protect the buildings with expensive tech as well.

We have historic districts in the US. But everything else is razed to the ground.
