LMAO! I haven't seen this gif or video in a while! This might be me at the end of the season if they cliffhang it

This looks good. I haven't paid much attention to this and all I know of Daredevil is from the movie but I'll watch this.

I love the MCU films but haven't watched any of the Marvel TV series. Should I do a binge watch of those before going into this?

Nah, this doesn't really have any connection to the TV shows except the fact that they're set in the MCU. Maybe Coulson will turn up in season 2 or something, but I really doubt it.

Is Karen Page to Daredevil like Vicky Vale is to Batman?

Are we ever going to see Elektra in this series? The semi-antagonist/protagonist love interest like her and Catwoman always interest me more than the regular ones.

They've hinted that we will likely see Elektra and Bullseye in season 2.

13 episodes of this will be released on the 10th and then Game of Thrones S5 premieres on the 12th. What an awesome weekend next week.

I'm sitting through the movie for the first time in a long time.

I can't, just can't. It's too much for me.

Please no.

I don't want any of the trash from Agents of Shield showing up and ruining a potential masterpiece such as this.
Someone didn't get the memo. SHIELD's actually good now, great even.

Good to hear. What's the consensus on the other two shows? I've heard that AoS doesn't really deliver until the second series.
Agents of SHIELD picks up near the end of Season 1 (where Winter Soldier impacts the show) & kicks it into high-gear in Season 2. Agent Carter, while not at the height of SHIELD Season 2, is still a solid show.

I've watched only the first five episodes of Season 1 and never looked back. :lol

Guess it's time to catch-up, if what you're all saying is true.

Still, it'd be best for Daredevil to remain isolated from external MCU elements outside of brief references like the battle of New York or SHIELD being obliterated. Coulson popping out of nowhere to deliver a sheepish quip would stick out like a sore thumb.

I think the tones might clash too much. Pretty much the only bad thing we've seen from Daredevil so far was the whole "maybe if he had robot suit or magic hammer" line. It was cringeworthy.

Maybe Coulson could pop out of somewhere to further the story in a way that makes sense instead. I bet a professional writer could come up with a way.

Honestly, just brave through Season 1, which picks up the pace when it ties into Winter Soldier. It'll only make Season 2 that much sweeter when it hits its stride.

As for Daredevil tying into the rest of the MCU, the most I could see beyond Infinity War featuring the Defenders is Kingpin in any of the Spider-Man movies (Vincent D'Onofrio is also quite the movie actor).

I thought a lot of people found those lines to be great.

Cool. Is there a 'viewing order' for AoS and Winter Soldier? I'm due for a re-watch of the film.

13 episodes in one go? That is....unusual. I thought they'll release them weekly.

Also, would love to see DD in Civil War if possible.

I've heard good things about the Director's Cut. Where can I get it?

most likely anywhere, hmv, amazon, ebay etc. The directors cut leaves out key pieces to the story from the theatrical version. Also in general directors cut feels way more mature

It's Netflix way. I kind of wish it wasn't. I mean, watching them all in two-three days will be amazing, but I can honestly say that Neogaf threads have made Flash S1/Arrow S1-2 watching a lot better expeience. Here this won't happen.

On the other hand the reviews say the show has been designed clearly as Netflix experience. So spreading those episodes weekly might not have worked.
