Metal Gear Solid Δ Snake Eater |OT| Hungry for More Snake?

I thought the visual were ok, not best in class but more than decent.

You know pc gaming is random when the most broken game i ever played by far was the avenger game and that game is probably not even top 100 most borken games if you ask on gaf.

I exaggerate when I say dogshit, but what I mean is, I could not get decent framerates without frame-gen, but then again, it's pretty common with all UE5 games on my 4070ti, so yeah. I'll redownload the demo, maybe I was a bit biased.

I will post more pictures later. I don't know why when playing with HDR my pictures look darker than they should.

The detail in the character model is insane

See if you can upgrade your CPU if its not the latest and greatest. UE5 games are cpu heavy, and i believe nanite operations in general are done on the CPU.

BF6 is also CPU heavy so I am thinking of upgrading my CPU and mobo to 9800x3d instead of upgrading my 3080.

My poor RTX 3080 couldn't hang with the Oblivion remake. It ran ok at 1440p but chugged at 4k even with DLSS Performance and dropped settings.

Assuming it'll be the case with MGSD :(

No no, i'm not saying that it has to run decently on your pc, like i said, pc gaming is mostly random.

Sound like apologism but it's what i witness with my eyes with every supposedly broken game.

bf6 was smooth as silk on my 13600k.

But i didn't had everything on ultra, mix of high and ultra.

This was already my all time favorite game, but I'm loving it that much more with the small QoL changes (such as changing camo and using radio without bringing up the menu), plus the option to use modern controls and camera.

If there are any Cyborg I/II users on GAF, you'll be happy to know it supports dual input. It's an absolute joy to play with an anolog stick while being able to use mouse aim.

Edit: I appreciate the photo mode but it's quite basic at the moment. You can still get some good shots though.

I'm a bit behind the times, but it's unfortunate that in the new recording of Snake Eater they auto-tuned the shit out of "Crime". It takes away from the whole version for me, which while not as good as the original is still an enjoyable rendition.

I have same set up and have deluxe edition bought on steam so want download later . I have had 0 time to follow its performance last few days been very busy . I have a ps5 pro too so I suppose I can refund on steam and try console but how are them ports I wonder .
i figured the port quality cant make a 5080 + 9800X3D perform worse than the current consoles... hitting 60fps with high settings and res + dlss should be easy

The way Snake goes into crawling position is so good man, you can control the speed of the animation, it looks even more impressive than in MGSV. They have done a good job

Does anyone know if I ordered a code for the deluxe version on xbox off of amazon, if I would get the code now? I wasn't planning to get it on xbox, but i kinda wanna play it now since I have some days off, and I have some left over birthday gift card balance.

I have nothing to add yet. Just wanted to say awesome OT, Judge.

Is it true that dlss balanced is really quality, and that perf is really balance, so i guess quality is really dlaa?

The purple place was talking about this...

Balanced is actually Quality.
Performance is actually Balanced.
No way to use Performance currently. (Maybe with Nvidia Inspector, idk)
