Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain |OT2| A Franchise Robbed Of Its Future

When you trigger the cutscene you should be very close to the truck. You can hop over the fence directly behind the building it's parked in front of. You'll have enough to time to run over, Fulton it and then run to the right and call your horse. Just keep running out the entrance and ignore the skulls

I kinda did this, but a little differently and I ended up getting an S rank. Thanks!

Mission 45:
The one hit kills are extremely frustrating, especially when I'm placing myself carefully inside the building. The mission design has really taken a nose dive in the last third of the game.

Can I tell you I literally stood on the roof in the back of the bldg and air support bombed every single tank that came by? Then when the gunship showed up, 2 missles and game over.

While selecting the box, press Square to cycle through posters you collected.

fuck and here I was waiting for that option to show up in the research screen.

Finally I have a use for all these anime girl posters I've been collecting. Who is the asshole putting these up all over my base,
I'm going to give him a raise

Never noticed, but soldiers on MB will stand and salute BB until he moves away. I've been doing a few things on my iDroid, all the while two guys have been saluting. Must be getting tired after doing that for the last 20 mins.

At ease soldiers.

I always feel kind of awkward, I wish I could salute them back.

How many of those chapter 1 missions will I have to redo in chapter 2? Did Kojima pull some Devil May Cry 4 bullshit? No spoilers, obviously.

First impression of Quiet is... Not good. DD seems infinitely more useful with basically his wall hack ability. I'll probably level up my bond some more but so far I'm not impressed.

Four tips:
Equip her with a suppressor
Use the iDroid Buddy Menu to order her around the map. It will aid her target aquisition immensely.
She will target the enemy in your reticle if she can. This is useful for precision strikes with the 'Fire' command.
She hums when she has a target in her sight.

Any idea where to get an electrospinning specialist? I want to deck out DD but can't, feel like I should've found one ages ago... I'm on mission 28.

Look at the missions. In the top right, it tells you what skills you can get.

For that one,
it's one of the 6 prisoners in mission 9. The one in the Jeep.

Quiet is arguably the most useful buddy. Scout position areas for virtully the same utility as DD. Attack position areas for high damage dealing during a combat phase.

Just snuck in on mission 30 to the objective without knocking anyone out, tranqs, etc. Or being spotted.

Am I a true Foxhound member yet?

Then how about in metal gear 1 where big boss appears but doesn't have a horn or prostethic hand
If you've finished the game then ask in the spoiler thread; honestly i couldn't tell you what color big bosses eyes were let alone what was fake or real with those graphics.

Go to the iDroid map and hit the dpad up/down to change her location.

Clunky as hell but it works.

Or you can do it the easy way and open up idroid and go to buddy support then choose Quiet(attack) and you can choose where ever you want her to go.

i quit. Ive spent about 3 hours going to every location in africa, killing everyone. but I cant unlock the achievement for clearing outposts and guardposts. Unless you unlock more areas later in the game, im at a loss

I kind of just want to play main missions at this point (I finished 32 and Side Ops 143, 144), but I'm worried I'm going to miss out on a lot of story stuff and major characters (who were listed at the end of Chapter 1's credits that I have yet to encounter) if I don't do all the Side Ops.

From what I gather, Side Ops
150
is a extremely important (I don't have it unlocked yet), as well as these Side Ops missions:
Searching of escaped or missing children

Then there are the Main Missions that are just harder versions of things I've already done (I assume the ones with a yellow dot advance the plot). At this point, will I be missing out if I just do the main "yellow dot" missions, the important side missions I listed above, and that's it?

And then if I want to, I can go back and do those harder but repetitive main missions and the side ops I skipped?

Anyone know if it's possible to disable the arm upgrades (speed, medical etc.)?

I upgraded to the level 2 mobility for faster sprint but it's just awful. Make BB run like Raiden in the Jamais Vu side op from GZ.

MGSV is a lot longer then I was expecting. 30% total completion, 23 missions completed, and 64 hours of total playtime so far. You'll hear no complaints from me though!

You and me are basically at the same point. And I can agree wholeheartedly: no complaints about that.
