who is misterxmedia?
He uses terms like "local Cloud power" to try to explain how/why the X1 hardware is going to outperform the PS4's hardware.

There is someone who see this article ---> http://gamingbolt.com/dx12-may-allow-xbox-one-to-save-gpu-time-render-ray-tracing-superfog-and-custom-effects ?
If anyone can comment on this article?
The source on reddit simply used ray tracing and superfog as examples - he could've also said "DX12 FeatureXYZ". I don't know how that "journalist" sees that as a proof that there is an actual DX12 SuperFog feature. lol
On PC, sure. They needed something to go up against Mantle. They're already doing it on console. They always have been, for decades now. That's kinda what consoles do.So DirectX 12 will allow devs to get a little closer to the hardware, that's what I'm gathering from this.
Phil Spencer says wait till GDC about Xbox One and Direct 12.

So are they going to keep their underpowered console in the graphics race by manipulating the software side of things? Gross, if so.

This is basically what's in the OP, but it's good hearing it from Phil.
March 20th is the day to put on your calendar. 11 more days!
This is the most likely scenario.Which is kind of why I expect 12 on PC just to be taking a bunch of stuff they already built for the XBone and bring it to PC (and guess Windows Phone). Not some thing that will magically improve XbOne graphs performance.

I am now convinced Halo 2 Anniversary or some new game MS has in store will be used to showcase DirectX 12.
Mark my words.
I have a question... Why a console need a PC API?.. Fixed hardware like the Xbox One or the PS4 or any other consoles, for what i understand can accept direct functions. In other words the PS4, doesnt neccesary needs the DX12. To obtain the same effects or techniques (Updated devkits). Or this is more PR BS?. Correct me if i am wrong. Sorry for my english.
It doesn't. And it most likely won't.I have a question... Why a console need a PC API?.. Could you name any Xbox One game that isn't on PC because of how hard the porting is?Make it easier to port games from the Xbox One to PC. It's a win for PC gamers mostly. PS4 uses OpenGL wrappers for DirectX.
I wonder if we'll have to pay to unlock it...
Ok. ThanksIt doesn't. And it most likely won't.
Yawn, Microsoft are becoming tiresome where has all that 360 kick ass goodness gone ?
sorry for the bump but there is going to be a Turn 10 software architect on the panel at the Direct X 12 reveal.

Interesting. Will this stuff be streamed or at least live blogged?

So will it be more powerful than PS4 with DX12?
