"good pitching beats good hitting" is the way the adage goes, that everyone says all the time. Just thought it was interesting that so far the better offense has won each series.
I think it's an interesting perspective. If anything the playoffs have shown that teams can win games many different ways. Good pitching defeating hitting is true, but because you have good pitchers doesn't mean they will pitch well. Look at the Indians, that pitching lineup is pretty filthy and they shat the bed in the alds. Or even Scherzer last night. Four run rally after two outs against him is insane.

Its only annoying because of its flawed implementation. Technology and procedures will improve and it will shorten the time of getting these calls right. Baseball shouldn't change rules because of it. And players should adapt. If you are popping off the bag, perhaps you were going into it too fast and you should take a shorter lead.
Maybe they should change the bag, make it more forgiving.

True, I heard speculation on ESPN that Q could pitch game 1. Didn't they say Lesters outing on Wednesday was supposed to mirror a normal throwing session? Obviously 50 pitches in a game is different than 50 pitches in a bullpen but figured he might be able to go Sunday. Don't understand Hendricks tho, my slots for him give him normal rest.
