All caught up!

No not Aston! Takiki was sooo dumb. This whole arc was messed up. So many Tekk members died for nothing.

Akihiro is my favorite so him going fucking ham on Galan felt so good. He is probably going to die though.

hush is going to become a boss later I can feel it. I wonder what his gundam will look like.

overall 2/5 for this mini earth arc. Not event he mech stuff could save this

????? versus all the Tekkadan members who continually die on a regular basis under Orga?

Nothing's really changed. We just visually see it in this episode arc.

Under Terrorists for Equal Initiative War Association Zone (TEIWAZ IS TERRORISTS) and Tekkadan, there will be plenty more children sent off to their deaths under the pretense of false sense of masculinity and security fighting for Tekkadan, not realizing the fact that they're still human debris, they're just sugar coated a little better now.

You can buy his gundam for a while now, saw it like a month ago in a store.

It has a big long foldable box cuttery blade looking sword.

Edit: Wait no nvm that's another IBO character with white hair from some manga spin off or something. Hush's one just what he has now.

A shame, I was waiting to see how badass that box cuter foldable sword would be in action.

Episode 33

I thought that was a really, really good episode. It cleans up the fallout from the previous bad arc while laying a lot of groundwork for what to expect from the rest of this season. There are some pretty big promises being made, and I love the ambition the show has. Seeing Tekkadan gain more political power and status would be really interesting, but it also brings the potential of the series going for a Berserk end closer to home. How much is Orga truly prepared to sacrificed to move forward, and what will be left of them when they get to the top?

Episode 33

Man this was a great episode, Takaki evolved so much as a character. Still living with the guilt, not wanting to leave his sister alone and his responsibilities for Tekkadan. I really liked him, but it's sad that we had to lose Aston for this since he was such a cool character. The few moments with his sister this episode were heart breaking, these moments always gets me...I still have this lingering sad feeling after that sweet little scene post-credit.

As for the political stuff, lots of big stuff is coming, and it could(probably will) terribly go south from there. Will lots of people die? I hope not, but I have a feeling they will.

Glad to see this closure of a terrible arc. Man, although Mcgillis is supposed to be a antagonist but he doesn't feel like it in this season so far with his interaction with Tekkadan.

And Lafter finally have feelings for Akihiro, Akihiro better not be a fucking blockhead to it.

Bye, Takaki, don't come back.

Orga's reasoning makes no sense. He says they've been mocked and kicked around, and while that's true for the most part, they're in a well-respected position within Teiwaz and have access to a giant mining operation. I'm not one to admonish ambition but if Orga wants to go from slave to King of Mars within barely two years then he deserves his eventual downfall.

But I guess it fits with his 'take the shortest way possible' philosophy...it's within character, I'll admit---I just don't like it.

Seriously, just let 2nd best boy Takaki go like that? A better writer would have found him a paper pushing job in Tekkeden if the boss was truly concerned about Takaki being unable to handle the threat of his family unit being threatened. I hope Ride gives Orga a long talking to to make him change his offer to Takaki and bring him back home.

Ousama Orga will be intriguing.

School outfit Takaki is great.

Ein confirmed as Vidar?

Takaki felt like Biscuit 2.0. His leaving felt better executed than Biscuit's (because he didn't need to die to leave).

Vidar confirmed as garbage-tier then. Ein has caught almost as many Ls as Yamcha, in a fraction of the time.

What a great episode, lots of character development. Hush respects Mika now, and his training although I thought the reason Akihiro and Mika train is because of the Alyswhatever system drain on them while piloting the Gundams? LafterxAkihiro happening? I wonder hows that gonna work with the whole Naze harem thing. Takaki leaving Tekkadan was out of left field for me, he better come back and save the day somehow.

Is McGillis playing Orga here? I mean, the guy is straight up telling everything Orga wants to hear, seems a little to obvious and Orga stills accepts. The Orga and Mika scene in the end was very insightful, seems like Mika is finally thinking for himself, even changeling Orga's decision somewhat, but Orga can't stop wanting to one-up himself for Mika.

Best scene in the episode tho was Masked-Men, god damn am I beyond hyped for next week's episode! The title implies a fight and we better be getting one!

Basically yes. he has already been shown to be a master manipulator to get what he wants out of people. If he isn't losing sleep over betraying two of his closest friends (and killing one as far as he knows), then no one watching should be under any illusion that he means what he says to Tekkadan unless it helps him in some way.

Much better episode than the last three. Really looking forward to where things are going from here after this latest proposal to Tekkadan.

I like Hush's continuing found respect he has for Mika. His goal switching from wanting to surpass him, to not wanting to hold him back again.

Also nice to see confirmation of Lafter's feelings for Akihiro. The "Don't tell Naze" part amused me.

This season has been on fire; can't wait for the Vidar next episode.

Also I want more Gali and Julietta; their brief little interactions have been a lot of fun.

true. I think someone is going to realize this before the show ends.

I thought the same thing. Hush and the guy from the spinoff look too similar

If they didn't kill Lafter after literally showing her cockpit get cut in half, ain't no god damn way she's dying this season.

Those flags have to be fakeouts.

If not tho, seeing Naze get super serious for a minute and get his own mech might be sweet.

Finally got caught up earlier in the afternoon.

So let me get this straight; Orga can barely handle having an Earth branch of Tekkadan without shit going belly up, and he wants to be King of Mars.

... Yeah, good luck with that, buddy.

oh my god this show is back!? How am I just finding this out!? Eek i loved the first season.

Yea I knew the season started earlier but I just havent watched any of it yet and were already almost at the end. How has the season been so far? Is there a Movie version of season 1 yet like they have done with other shows in the past?

Takaki is gone! Yaaaaay.

And yeah, Orga is really over doing it, they can barely handle two seperate divisions, he can't handle mars even if he somehow gets it.

Guy needs to slow down and chill a bit.

... Why was Takaki in a suit? I mean, what's the job market for "blond boytoy who can barely read" on Earth 2300 that requires him to wear a suit?

I honestly cannot figure Julietta character. I understand she respect strong people, but more than childlike she comes of as... well, mentally impaired sometimes.

Also I'm watching Erin and realized the chocolate man and Damiya are virtually the same character!

I think they're going for this universe's version of artificial NewType....either that or it's your bog-standard animu quirkiness.

Why did the show have to remind me of Chocolate Man's kid fiancee, i had almost forgotten that rotten aspect of this story.

Oooooooooookay. He wants to reform the world so no one will bat an eyelid at him having a child bride. OOOOOOOOOOOOKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

Gundam IBO 34

This was a great episode character development wise and I find the Hush/Mikazuki student/master relationship pretty funny.

While the combat lacked a little compared to what we had previously, it was still entertaining to watch.

Character interactions are pretty great in IBO and this episode was no exception.

Yes his plan since childhood has been to change the world to one where people aren't as controlled by the status of their birth — was so he can have a bride who wasn't even born at the time. It has nothing to do with the years he spent as an outcast purely because of the circumstances of his birth...

Looool,
looks like Merribit X Orga is completely dead in the water

As for this next episode preview,
flags on the play, Shino!

Lolicons are the fucking worst.

Otherwise boring as fuck episode and the fighting was so meaningless I'd rather it had not happened. Also are they throwing enough flags around that what Tekkadan is doing is a bad idea?

Choco man's goals wouldn't be so bad if he didn't dress it up with pedophilia is ok.... Why just why

You just reminded me his fucking nickname is Chocolate Man which makes this all the worst. Ahhhh....

God that scene could have played out better in so many other ways and still got his point across about changing the world without giving off the pedo vibes.

That nickname is well earned, who the fuck randomly carries about kids sweets to hand out while not having kids. Pedophiles that's who.

Man he's much more likeable as character when his pedophilic characteristics aren't out for show

Really enjoyed this episode. I don't know, I just really enjoy the world of this series so I'm just enjoying every second of it. The lowest point was the Dort saga from last season which I didn't have that much of an issue with. Also didn't expect the new pairing we got about half-way into the episode.

Also, I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous the final scene with McDonalds and his small waifu was.
