Monitoring the situation in Iran

The real issue is the lack of replacement, as well as bureaucracy. Why does it take one month to make a single Patriot missile? why are Lockheed, Raytheon and the likes so slow? why did Biden not commission significant rearmament? Tons of jobs would have been created in factories to make 155mm artillery ammo, air defence missiles, HIMARS missiles and more ATACMS.
The saying is fast, good, cheap, you can only pick two. But manufacturing is so dominated by China now that if you want good it seems you can pretty much only pick one.

Giving Ukraine the weapons wasn't the problem. Most of those were made to destroy Russian tanks and airplanes and they've done the job quite well with zero American casualties.

it may well be the best investment the U.S. military has made in a long time.

Artillery and less complex equipment was ramped up fairly quickly. The US has a problem with high end manufacturing in general. It lacks the population willing/able to ramp up advanced supply chains. Taiwan semiconductor's fabs have been floundering because it's having trouble building up a local workforce. Neither party does much to address the growing skills gap.

Iran won on day 1... by setting a trap... where all their major leaders get wiped out, and 99% of their retaliatory strikes get shot down, and their people rejoice in the streets that the regime might come to an end.

because the 30-something % of Islamic believers in the country... Now have more faith?

What am I even listening to?

this is worse than Alex Jones

I'd argue the recent push to build fabs in the U.S, in case of war and for "future proofing" is also a factor. There is also the administration's push for rare earth supply chain independence.

Ritter's making some sweet bucks from being on a dozen Youtube channels every day for years now, stating how the US and its allies are being crushed.
If you look at his new vids, these hacked channels pop up with a dozen views on some niche local subject and suddenly post 10 videos per day on IT'S OVER FOR THE US
