So there seems to be one glaring flaw with the data transfer program. That is, it moves ALL data, not just specific saves. My character is saved on my 3DS, and my girlfriends is on the wiiu. We can co-op just fine like this. But when I try and transfer, it wants to copy ALL data, and tells me that save data on the wiiu doesn't match that on the 3DS, and it wants me to delete the console data.

I'm so disappointed in this. I can't believe they wouldn't anticipate people co-oping locally between the systems. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Use a different profile on the Wii U for your save?

It's confusing due to there being three available save slots. If you create a new WiiU account profile, you can do it this way, il for you three blank slots.

I see. Is it possible to move the current wiiu save data over to the new wiiu account?

I don't own a 3DS or a WiiU. If I go to the 3DS route, what will I miss aside from the lower resolution graphics? How about multiplayer? Can I connect to a lobby for some games or via XLinkKai away from adhoc?

Anyone else using full Azuros armor? I don't know much about stats yet, so I just built the armor that I had materials for.

I have the Arzuros set, currently using it as my base Lance/Gunlance armor until I work up something better. The defense up and boost to healing items makes for a nice combo with a more defensive strategy, since you can outlast monsters while using fewer meds and potions.

You're supposed to catch the bear (area 3 IIRC), not the small monsters

I was not prepared for the sheer endurance of Duramboros, I think I set myself a new record for most hammer knockouts in one fight with this tank of a creature, maybe hammer wasn't the best choice for this outing, i'd upgrade my gunlance but Pelagicite Ore is refusing to answer my call.

you can hop online as soon as you have control of your character.

You just go to the ship in the southwest corner of the village. You can play online before offline, if you want.

The little touches like rolling extinguishing burning are what get me. Made a plume flint hammer after a coop session and noticed the last charge level made a different, metallic sound. Watching closely the next time, the flint on the hammer actually cocks at the last stage of charging. Did my heart good.

Maybe I should farm Lagiacrus. Their armor seems pretty good. I want fast charge! I can gem out the Status Attack Down but it would I'm using a poison switch axe so I really want the Status +10 I will have on my current set eventually.

I believe you need to talk to the blacksmith and hand over the iron ore to him.
