I kinda want the Cavs to win, Ohio needs this.

That being said, not sure they can pull it off, but gonna go with em and say Cavs in 7.

Be careful, a similar troll got whacked about a page ago.

There's seems to be a pretty low tolerance for shit posting today.
Then what are you doing here? Your posts whining about my opinions and what I post are a clear shit post. I also think your attempts at backseat moderation enter that same category.

Plus. I'm not a troll. Just my opinion on the finals with the reasons for them. I don't get your aggravation with it.

Yeah, I am a Pistons guy and read a lot of Pistons blogs and forums. Pretty much no Pistons fan was predicting they would win, more just hoping they would make it a fun series.

As for Atlanta who the hell was picking Atlanta over Cavs? No one.

The hypocrite sounds like he is in his own bubble.
You were one that picked the pistons to give them trouble. Do you want me to quote your post? 😉

The revisionist haters are at least consistent on their hate and dismissal of the Cavs. When the playoffs started you were shouting about "how the Cavs were going to lose to the pistons (look at the season record!!), the Heat/Hawks (Same argument), and even the Drake's for the same reason. None of those checks had any funds but you didn't wanted to accept the facts. You continue banging that same drum, fucking that same chicken with the Dubs. Being wholly dismissive of the Cavs (Talking about the ones calling the series in 5 or less games), and you'll be wrong again.

Cavs will win the 1st game and proceed to conquer the finals in 6 games. The King gets the 🏀👑 & 💍. Cleveland gets rewarded at last ⌛ for believing.

The reasons for that, the Warriors defense isn't as good as it has been in the past. Curry has health issues and that team is running on fumes. Draymond will get suspended for his reckless actions for 1 game and the Cavs will capitalize on that.

FMVP: LeBron James.

There's so much to unpack here, but just know that 99.999999999% of NBA fans assumed that the Cavs would make the finals.

Trade for Harden to play PG and they are in there.

Breh everyone that knows anything about basketball knew the Cavs were going to the finals.

1st post was calling out your shit post structure.

2nd post was an attempt at telling you that said shit posting got someone axed but a couple hours ago, so be careful.

You clearly aren't interested in reasoned discussion though so have fun beating up that frankenstein you made about people that don't accept your awful opinion.

As a closer, let's introduce two facts. 1.) 54%. The combined FG% Irving's man scored against him in their previous 4 regular season matchups 2.) A visual reminder of Kevin Love's defense on Warriors high pick and rolls:

And you didn't though they had a chance with Max Whiteside, ISO Joe, Batman Wade, Dragic, CB? Cause a lot of HeatGaf did.

not a part of heatGAF but I thought with whiteside healthy they would have given the cavs some trouble

mind you, "some trouble" amounts to winning a single game at home mayyyybe two

I don't remember anyone saying the Heat would roll the Cavs.

Some(a few) may have given the Heat a decent outside shot with a healthy Bosh and some optimism but no one was posting the nonsense that guy was saying was seemingly a regular occurrence from a lot of people.

This didn't happen.

Yes it did. See a small sample: Here

Yes, Love & Irving suck at defense. That's a fact.

I thought they had a punchers chance, but not a good one. But CB wasn't part of that equation so...

But there was hope he could be.

You are a reasonable fellow.

And two of them refer to match ups that didn't even happen. Imagine being so petty and insecure about your team that you compile a list of every poster who spoke out against them.
You told me it didn't happen brah. I don't compile lists, I just have good memory though.

I want the Cavs to be the spoiler and pull this one out, but even with their big 3 healthy I don't believe they can do it. Warriors with the gentleman's sweep.

Cavs in 5

Two superstars took golden state to the brink of elimination imagine Lebron who gave them hell last year in the finals will do with a fully healthy squad

With that said this is going to be a damn good nba finals

See: Here

One of those was clearly tongue in cheek(He also said Celtics in 3 earlier). The other doesnt really come close to the hyperbole you spoke with earlier.

You aren't really going to try and defend that over-stating, hyperbolic laden post are you?

But I'm part of heatgaf tho
Me too. I wanted the heat to play against them, just for the Wade vs Bron matchup. Didnt think the heat had enough to take the series.

Can't say I'm excited for this series, I expect more of the same from last year.

Rooting for Cleveland, but I think Golden State wins this; the Cavaliers don't have the defense, and can't out-shoot them. Warriors in 5.

I think the Cavs can outshoot them.

They don't have anyone as good as Curry or Klay but their role players are probably better shooters than GSs.

For me the Cavs problem is their defense.

Yeah how could they lose with PnR defense like this

Watch out Warriors!

Seriously basketball is more than "Tristan Thompson put up 9ppg and Kevin Love is capable of 20ppg so that's 11 extra points. Cleveland lost 2 games by 8 so with Kevin's extra 11 they would have won by 3"

Warriors sweep. I can't see Cavs winning even with a healthy big 3. They're not going to stop Thompson raining 3s like no tomorrow.

just gonna respond to a couple posts in particular on page 1 since i've been out all day

Somehow, I don't think the Warriors would have struggled as much as Cleveland did to put away a mediocre Toronto team.

somehow I don't think Cleveland would've taken 7 games to put OKC away, so it is what it is.

(what it is? probably a matchup more similar to the christmas day game than the one a month later)

Don't dare mention how a healthy cavs team got wrecked by 32 in their own building.

hrm, yes, a "healthy Cavs team" featuring Kyrie in his tenth game back from fracturing his kneecap, new Darussafaka head coach David Blatt coaching, no Channing Frye, and some mascot dude who got traded to GS playing 17 minutes

Thats the rub for me. The Cavs will need to shoot as good or better then the Warriors to make up for what they are gonna give up defensively.

And that is going to be really hard to do over 7 games. The Dubs shot 40% from 3 against a pretty impressive Thunder defense. Now swap Westbrook and Roberson for Irving and Smith, Ibaka for Love. 40% seems a best case scenario for the Cavs to hold them to defensively.

On the flip side you have the Cavs shooting 39% from 3 against a more beat up, worse Toronto defense.

For me to mentally accept the Cavs winning I have to assume the Warriors really shit the bed and the Cavs play better then they have shown themselves capable of playing so far.
