You just answered your own question. He bought 3 iPads today, but will be getting 3 iPad 3Gs when they come out. He's an early adopter... waiting is for peasants!

May not be a big surprise but we all have a 32gig iPhone 3GS, we have 3G on those. It is not very fast, we have access to wifi 90% of the time so went with the cheaper 64gig ipads. Why pay another $129 more ea ($387 for 3) and the extra monthly fees.

Shit adds up and just wanted to save where I could because I knew we would end up getting 3 ipads.

I picked this up after seeing some gameplay videos and reading about the battle system.

I, for my entire 30 years on this planet, have HATED RPG's. This game is really cool so far. Now, I won't be jumping in to any FF games or whatever :lol

I like this game for it's simplicity; no worrying about casting spells and all that stuff.

Nope, didn't. I've travelled a ton, but unfortunately only with North America. (I also thought it may have been some sort of special edition, which is why I was confused)

It's just a special flavor, like that Cherry Vanilla Diet Dr Pepper crap. Although having (more) cherry in your Dr Pepper is actually really good, so not really like that at all.

LOTR was on my agenda as well, until I heard that this release is just the theatrical versions, and all the special features are on DVDs, I will wait for the extended version release.
