So this was bought in August but it arrived on Friday. I decided to take it upon myself to install this in my car (have absolutely zero experience working on my car..never changed oil, inflated tires, you name it I've probably never done it)
For those of you that don't know what this is, it basically is an convertor that allows you to integrate various devices into your car stereo. It's a cheap and elegant solution for those of us that want ipod integration in our stock stereo.
How it works: for my car (2004 Mazda 3) it plugs into the port where the factory CD changer would've interfaced).
I tucked the device behind my ash tray and secured it using velcro.
Then lead the wire into the cup holder.
Finished product. Everything is nice and hidden.
Final close up (yeah I know the ipod is old)
Anyways, it works great and I feel even better knowing that I saved $150 worth of labor (The converter itself was under $100 with tax/shipping included). I highly recommend it over just an audio in jack b/c of the following;
-Charges your ipod while plugged in
-Control ipod with steering wheel. (next track/prev track, volume-

-Doesn't lock out your screen when plugged in.

Cool stuff, I use the same. How do you style your hair? I try doing those cool Japanese hairstyles that look a bit disheveled and spiky but I'm pretty terrible at it.

It's pretty insulting that the series is bunched with porn tho, sure there is fanservice, but fark, the majority of the popular manga nowadays is pretty much the same shit in terms of the amount of fanservice.

I had some issues with next track/prev track function not working but I at least figured out the problem (cable connecting the ipod to the converter isn't completely snug so I have to have it in a specific orientation). Hopefully it's just a faulty cable that I can have replaced. Otherwise it works like a charm. Sound quality is awesome btw (no hisses, background distortion, etc..). I'm glad I ditched the FM transmitter.

That Lips promo got me hooked on "Young Folks"... I love how they reinterpreted the"Everybody Loves Kung-Fu Fighting" jingle; bought both the song and video.
Indie Electronica from the Far East! The Analog Girl. Her songs "Skylight Boulevard" and "April" are just brilliant!
And to round off, some games, including a mint and sealed Izuna

cool man, i did something similar to my girlfriend's mazda3, it being the Axxess adaptor. Like you, I do not have any experience with cars, but it didn't take long to install. I routed her Ipod cables towards the passenger side storage compartment (forgot what it's called) and everything is hidden and clean.
