Colt Eastwood? Haven't watched that particular video, but if previous brain farts are anything to go by, meth, most likely.

Hope Sony remove AMD from PS5 and put Intel and Nvidia for run Control with RTX because that DF thread its a damage Control.
RTX will run on everything later on so no need . and they knows better and RTX not that big deal for now anyways.Hope Sony remove AMD from PS5 and put Intel and Nvidia for run Control with RTX because that DF thread its a damage Control.

A general question: with the next-gen consoles probably outputting native 4K by default, does this mean if the user chooses to output to 1080p in the console's display settings, that the framerate will skyrocket? Or do you think the console will still render at 4K internally but just downsample, instead of changing its internal resolution to 1080?
How do current consoles handle this? (E.g., switching from 1080 output to 720. Does framerate go up, or it just downsamples?)
PS4 Pro offers an option to disable SSAA, while XB1X doesn't. Maybe PS5 will offer the same option.A general question: with the next-gen consoles probably outputting native 4K by default, does this mean if the user chooses to output to 1080p in the console's display settings, that the framerate will skyrocket? If the game is GPU-bound, then it gets 60 fps on Pro/X.There's been a lot of arguments over it but I still believe:
GPU = Resolution
CPU = Framerate
Which was also further backed up when the Pro and X released. Framerates didn't improve or stabilise because the CPU remained the same.
Man this place is dead. LoL No news, no leaks, no rumors, no nothing. The wait is killing me.![]()
I could go for a major leak right about now the thirst is realMan this place is dead. LoL No news, no leaks, no rumors, no nothing. The wait is killing me.![]()

Yep. I'm amazed we don't really know anythingI could go for a major leak right about now the thirst is real
You would think with dev kits out in the wild we would know a lot more by now. I mean last gen we had a leak with full system specs at this point in time.Yep. I'm amazed we don't really know anything

I guess the NDA must read something like if you even think about talking about next get you forfeit your soul or something.
There's no other way to keep this many things secret, but to do what you said lol. Maybe it's because Sony and MS have talked about the general console already, that it's making devs not feel the need to leak?
Better no info than shit.
I think we have a good idea of whats coming. The only variable is tariff nerf.
I'm not sure you should be betting on that.
Good, doesn't matter either way to meI don't plan on buying a 4K / HDR TV for a couple years at least. My 1080 is still just fine. I was really asking because of that: it would be sweet to be able to lower the internal resolution and get a solid 60-120 fps on 1080
I really hope this is the case. I just bought a Samsung Q70R and the PS4 Pro looks just fine.I think some devs will actually design their games to be 1440p internally and then have the PS5 upscale it.

Consoles will most likely be releasing fall 2020 and it's also an election year you can bet Tariffs will be figured out by then one way or another so I don't think it will have an impact on next get at alltarif nerf will screw us all. every fucking gen there is something holding back greatness.

Yeah, there are places with worse prices and wages...Even if America was paying more it'd still be less than a lot of other places. They'll just have to suck it up.

RTX2080S tier GPU (11TF) would produce jaw dropping visuals at 1440p. Hope thats the caseI think some devs will actually design their games to be 1440p internally and then have the PS5 upscale it.

We don't know the ssd situation outside of it flying data in both directions. But im okay with eberything except I think we will have 20gbs of ram for gamesHave we all settled on what we think the final spec of the PS5 will be, then? I'm sticking with:
~3Ghz CPU
~2Ghz GPU
12TF
16GB application RAM
4GB OS RAM (reserved)
1TB SSD (M2)
Hardware ray tracing (that won't be as good as nVidia's offering, but will actually be pretty good as it stands) (#secretsauce)
Dualshock 5 will have some sort of meh new feature that no one will really give a hoot about (and the battery will only be about 10% better than the DS4)
Backward compatible with PS4 (+Pro) only* (other consoles supported via PS Now!)
Functional, if quite unremarkable black housing, as it needs to be kept practical for fans and heat
Launch price (GBP): £425 - £450**
(* - PS1/PS2 games from PS store will use the built-in emulator that's not user accessible)
(** - Sony taking a loss of £50 - £100 per machine)
AND we get more tech demos to show off what the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett will bring us. From the team working on the Final Fantasy engine we have.......
You can bet on that.Hopefully it won't take them another decade to release something...
Not much to go on these days, so on the Apple liveblog..."second generation" 7nm, 8.5 billion transistors. Not sure if any EUV...
Lets hope they dont gimp itAs much they keep the hype on the GPU, the CPU will be the real MvP. Without contest.
