Not Forza and Starfield like other leakers said
This is the only one with a 100% track record

Isn't this stuff from months ago?

It feels like if there wasn't Microsoft to constantly talk about, gaming discussions would be dead.

Amazon leaked Forza Horizon 5. Discord leaker is full of shit.
Nope. That "leak" was fabricated by a Twitter account. We tested it, and you can game Google into showing this up as a result. That Sept. 27 release date is for EA Sports FC 25.

Same reason why the submission on Reddit was removed, and that person repeatedly would not reply to anyone who pointed it out (we did, they did not reply). Not saying Forza Horizon 5 isn't the game (though I don't think it is), but that "confirmation" is BS.

For Flight Sim, who is this guy? Is this from Discord?

'iD softwares next game is no longer xbox exclusive and will be multiplatform"

Lol. No shit. We already know Doom - Dark Ages is multiplat.

I’d be surprised with this because I don’t think it’s a game meant for console tbh. I tried it on Series X and it can impress visually, but it plays like crap with a controller. I say this as someone who has played it on PC (my dad is a big fan) using a serious flight setup.

The biggest issue for me on Series X were the menus during flights, like when choosing an airport to land at. It was awkward to say the least.

I’d say the most likely game to have success on PS5 would be one of the Forza Horizon games. Starfield, or Halo I’m not so sure.

Sure it has been proven right so far, but no where in that leak does it say when flight sim would come, or that it would come before any other game... That's your interpretation. I'm pretty certain Flight Sim is not the game being announced next week.

It is a great game, but a strange choice since it’s pretty niche and most of the audience who would want it is already a PC or Xbox.

But at the sam time, it is fine as long as MS doesn’t expect millions of copies sold.

If it's true, this is probably exactly why. "It's just a few games" like Hi-Fi and Pentiment turns into "It's only Flight Sim!" turns into "It's only an OLD Halo game!"

Slowly conditioning the audience to accept this in stages.

Boooooooring….Gears collection and Ori or bust. They can keep the trash that is Starfield though.

Still butt-hurt over that exclusive deal huh? Starfield is awesome and keeps getting better. Shattered space is around the corner and it will be what Phantom Liberty was to Cyberpunk.

Flight Simulator would make a perfect showcase for PS5 Pro.

I really hope it's MSFS. Would also perfectly line up with the 2024 update. There is huge interest on Playstation for this game no doubt.

So this is wild. I bought the new xbox for Halo (didnt really like it), Forza, Sea of Thieves and Flight Simulator. If Flight Simulator comes to PS5 I just dont see any reason to own the xbox any more. Sad, but just Forza at that point.

I already play MS Flight Sim on PC already in VR (it's incredible in VR). If it came to PS5 with PSVR2 support I'd double dip again for the hell of it.

I still think Forza, MS Flight Sim, and Starfield are coming to PS5 soon. I don't think it's an either or situation.
Why not play on PC with PSVR2? It will be 30 fps on PS5.

What makes you think that? That's not based on any facts just your conjecture, and besides the PS5 Pro is coming. It could perform beautifully on the PS5 Pro and if I was to play it on console I'd play it on the PS5 Pro.

Yeah it's a really interesting piece of technology but super boring. It's like flying in real life, when you take off and see everything getting tiny and going up in to the air you're like "holy crap this is amazing!" then 20 mins later you're bored and just waiting for it to be over.

⬆️ i can't quote anymore lately but agree with poppabk, VR rigs struggle to get 60 fps, most generally settle around 45-50 fps with reprojection and that is 4090 paired with the latest CPUs, psvr2 would be able to run on ps5 pro but with significant compromises

So they're following the Sony PC strategy. Release the last game on other platforms and use it as free promo/advertising for the upcoming sequel.
I'm just glad for once its not controversial to say MS is following Sony's strategy, plans.

Calling Flight Simulator an "Xbox game"...

Did MS really go back to use MS Gaming for Xbox games? If so...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Right? really trying to stretch the "Xbox games are coming to PS5" narrative lol
Its not some made up narrative tho. Its an absolute fact that "Xbox games are coming to PS5". The First 4 has now become The Next 4.

Unless they optimize the shit out if it, VR is gonna be a rough experience on PS5. People with 4090/7800x3d set-ups have to fiddle with the settings to get it running 'good enough'.

I have a 4080 laptop(basically a 4070ti desktop) and can run it to the point its one of the most impressive games I've played. It's not fast paced, so a barebones 60fps at a mix of settings(mostly med/high) is no problem at all for VR vets. The problem is maps like NYC etc with heavy amounts of details, but most the game isn't like that. A PS5 Pro using foveated rendering and optimization could do it. The question is will they do it.
