Well they already did worse than last year, see 2008. Anyway Zelda alone will be better than the entire 2015 showing, so yeah.

True.
What a surprise it will be. Nintendo has managed to keep it a secret for so long now and the show is only 3 days away. Amazing if they pull this off without having any leaks.

Nothing can be worse than last years, I had a day off work for it and I wanted to go back work before the Direct had ended.

The only thing I can off the hand remember about last year's digital event was the puppets and thinking that whole time how low it was that they were ripping off Jim Henson style muppets. Two weeks later, Nintendo posts a video of the Jim Henson studio tour where they made them and I'm like, "Ohh touché, well played, Nintendo"

Love how you can see more of the art direction of the game in it, the background with swirling organic shapes, the triforce and some decoration. Makes me think the keywords for the game must be something like magic technology and organic/expressive shapes.

The games that will be featured during the Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 broadcast are:

  • Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon
  • The Legend of Zelda (U-King)
  • Pokémon GO
  • Monster Hunter Generations
  • Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
  • Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
There might be more, who knows? Pokémon Sun and Moon and U-King are what I find most interesting.

Do you guys think they sneak in a Skyward Sword HD surprise for the Fall to tide people over till Zelda U.?

I think they let us know that they have another Zelda game the has been in production alongside ZeldaU and its not a remaster.
I know its a stretch and I'm rather delusional until my morning coffee. sorry. )=

I hope Color Splash makes it on the schedule as well.

Wasn't that Triforce Heroes?

I'm almost totally at peace with that, got yer Zelda, some Monster Hunter, everything else is icing on the cake for me. Curious about #FE...doesn't actually feel like something I'd dig but it's an rpg so I'll eventually pick it up.

The closest Zelda ever came to having a "edgy" title was Majora's Mask.

I remember when the Twilight Princess title was revealed. A lot of people were complaining that the "princess" part was, I can't remember if it was lame or kiddy.

Imagine if the Twilight movies had been released by then. The meltdowns would have been huge.

I don't think Majora's Mask is an edgy title. The game is, but not the title.

I'm going to laugh if there's no voice acting. Of course, I'm one of those people who doesn't care if we get it, but the reactions should be fun either way.

Anyway, with Nintendo showing a largely known number of video games, we haven't seen any "leak" lists or anything. I miss them. Surely someone's thought to whip up a cheat sheet of what we'll see in Zelda. :p

Me and my bad opinions are here!

Just got out of X-men Apocalypse (Bryan Singer can't direct his way out of a paper bag lmao) and now I'm on line! If anyone here wants to see yours truly, I'm the cutest redhead in line ;)

As for thinking Wind Waker is harder than ZII, ZII's challenge was simple and dexterous. Every time I got my ass kicked, I knew exactly why I screwed up and how to get better. For Wind Waker, the puzzles were so horrendous and poorly designed that I spent hours bashing my head in until I caved and used a guide the entire time.
Could you please explain what puzzles were so ridiculous? Beat wind waker when I was 12 and have nothing but fond memories, not memories of crushingly difficult puzzles.

The thing I most dislike about this Zelda reveal is that the NX version is also coming but we are only seeing the inferior version of the game. It will look good but it's going to go up against 4th year next gen stuff and will not come close to it technically.

They should have used this as an opportunity to show off NX IMO.
