Got a surprising amount of ice here in Delaware. Glad we haven't lost power, we've had a lot of branches falling as the day's gone on.
Day off from work was nice~
There are always cabs at the airport. You will be fine. This is NYC, there are always people on the roads and life gets back to normal pretty quickly after storms.Im about to land in laguardia in a couple hours. What are the chances of me getting a cab when I get there? Is anyone on the roads at all?
High-five Delaware!
Saw a few co-workers complaining on FB about power outages, glad it didn't get me too. Nice day home playing BOTW.
I'm not seeing it.
Damn haha, bundle up!Just checked the measurement. Currently sitting at 19.5" and it's still snowing. Seems upper end of estimate might end up correct
finally all dug out. I'm exhausted. I guess it wasn't 2 feet. I measured 20 inches.
Shoveling the sidewalk was tough and the re-freezing later and tomorrow is going to suck but I'm really glad it worked out this way. Going from 18+ in boston early on to less than 5 inches makes me happy.
Made a home made measuring stick at work, we have it one a patio table. Completely the most scientific method we are using. lol
Edit: Broome County, NY
Yea I'm in Broome too. We're going to way past even the higher estimates. 3+ feet?
they forcast more snow to be dumped overnight here,
will wake up to surprise tomorow morning

Snow is finally over in CT. I say we got at least 18 inches, but it's really hard to tell since it was blowing everywhere. I had to snow blow twice: once at 11 am and then at 4pm, and there was another 2 inches piled up after 4pm.
8-16 inches of snow, they said
We passed 22 earlier today with up to 9 more predicted through the evening
