Rockets down 10 at the half. Any bets on how much longer Van Gundy has with the team?

Edit: Damn it, Hart's going cold. GIMME STATS, BOY!

This team is sad as hell...makes last years Rocket team look like championship material.

Pathetic to say but Cato fit Gumbys team at PF a lot better than Mo T and Howard.

Lue and Ward make Steve look like Jordan.

Jimmy Jackson is a year older and it shows.

Yao cant stay on the court long enough..fouls and only one good lung.

Team cant rebound for shit..etc etc etc

I cant wait till Gumby gets fired...little bald dwarf has it coming.

just turned on the miami game, and boy does shaq look skinnier. His face actually resembles his face during the orlando and lsu days. Looks like a different guy.

Well, that tends to happen when your No. 3-12 are a bunch of scrubs.

Z and McGinnis had nice stat lines tonight...but I can't stand the way both of them played. Giving them the ball was like throwing it into a black whole...Lebron should just demand it from them and then get Silas to bench them. The Cavs actually play better with Tractor Traylor, as ridiculous as it sounds.

Pacers are 3-1 since the loss of their 3 best players. And they have Johnson, Bender, Foster, and Miller on the IR... :lol

lmao the pacers can win without their best players and we cant win with ours....shows you how good the coaching is in Indiana..fucking gundy

Seeing DIvac is so great. Even for sentimental reasons, I wish the Kings would have kept him, he's a great influence for whatever team he is on. The Kings should slow the game down, they have the 4 of the best 5 players on the floor at all times.

Another win for the Suns, over the poor lowlier-by-the-day Hornets. Keepin' pace w/ Seattle which is plowing through the Nets right now.

Rockets fans would give your team back Jimmy action Jackson if you could spare Booby Jackson....I'm speaking for all Rockets fans.

Dont u miss him?

The Spurs were on cruise control tonight against the Nuggets, showing their trademark D.

I guess those couple of crappy losses actually helped them correct mistakes.

Jim Jackson led the Rockets in points, rebounds, and assists tonight, why would you want to trade him for Bobby Jackson who is playing way too hard trying to get a big contract.

Western Conference is ridiculous.

Another reason why this Artestgate thing sucks, the Pacers are obviously a very good team and we need all the balance we can get at this point.

How long do ya'll think the Suns and Sonics can keep this up? I can definitely see the Suns holding on throughout the season as long as they stay healthy, but the Sonics? I'll be honest I have not seen them play that much, but do they have staying power?

I have no clue. I've seen maybe about one Sonics game total so I'm no evaluator beyond knowing the players that make up the team. I think everyone is pretty surprised at what they've been doing and how they've been doing it. Suns have a nice team, but I could see a lull at some point, though their ridiculous balance makes this less likely (as long as Nash stays healthy). The Sonics? I have no frickin' clue, but i can't knock 'em until they actually, you know, lose again.

To be honest, I think the Sonics can keep it up. They're playing GREAT together. Deadly shooting, and great team basketball.

I wasn't a believer, but when I watched them play against the Wolves live at the Target Center, I'm convinced: They're a great team.

Granted, the wolves weren't playing all that well, but it didn't look like the Sonics' playing was a fluke.

The thing about the Sonics is do they have the roster to keep this up?

34 Ray Allen G
24 Mateen Cleaves G
4 Nick Collison F
33 Antonio Daniels G
30 Reggie Evans F
21 Danny Fortson F
13 Jerome James C
11 Ibrahim Kutluay G
7 Rashard Lewis F
22 Ronald Murray G
9 Vitaly Potapenko C
77 Vladimir Radmanovic F
8 Luke Ridnour G
31 Robert Swift C
12 Damien Wilkins F

Maybe, but that's the only thing that really makes me question it.

That was a nice 4 point turnaround. Refs have been pretty good tonight though, so they're forgiven. I didn't think Kobe was playing well in the 1st half, but he definately picked it up. Webb is playing really well, I hope he can average 24-12-6 this year.

I take back my comment about the officials, they have sucked ASS this quarter.

This Lakers team 2-12 is pretty poor. How many wide open looks can they miss? Blown fast breaks? Botched lobs?

Luckily for them, 1-12 on the Kings are playing like shit in this quarter...

Lakers had the game won and fucked it up. Cook missing the ft, Kobe with the bad pass, Cook missing the WIDE open 3. Fun game though :)

This is my first time watching Kobe play this year without Shaq. He does get a lot more space to drive down low without a big guy there and he'll be able to move around the court freely, but it only adds up to stats and not wins.

And yeah, Kobe is getting the Jordan calls/rules. It's not just the amount of free throws he gets, its that players aren't allowed to guard him. Anytime he gets into the lane, sometimes pushing off, bumping back or traveling its automatic freethrows. And the calls are nearly 100% anticipatory which explains the previous part.

and yeah. 7 straight baby.

Damn we really need to learn how to close teams out. That is going to be tough to ask of this team right off the bat, but hopefully they learn quickly. :)

Sacremento looks like a shell of themselves, it is way too early to say anything this early, but I wonder if Webber's time is past?

Oh yeah, King's defense on Kobe was the worst defense I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely disgusting.
