I think going from a 2060 super to a 5070ti \ super will be a very nice upgrade
I want to upgrade my 2060 Super too, but the prices are too much for me, sure I can buy a 4060/4060 Ti level card within my budget, but the 4070 is the first card that actually have a performance boost over 2 gens that's acceptable, and its 200 euro above my budget.

I'm dumping 50 euro per month on a savings account for a new PC. Ads up after 4 years.

These is how prices should be, tbh.

I do think the 4090 will start to be pushed a bit @4k maxed out on some upcoming games (Marvel 1943, GTA VI, possibly Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, State of Decay 3, STALKER 2, etc..) but I guess we'll see!
Yeah if that’s true then I’ll upgrade. It rocks right now I run it in 4k through a JVC NZ7 laser projector at 140” lol. Its crazy.

I over spec'd my computer for this reason. And I couldn't really find a lower power supply so I went ahead and got the 1300 watt Platinum. We all know how this works and I don't mind Nvidia throwing more power to this thing given how well built the coolers are. I've never had such a fast overclocking card old temperatures as well.

400W for an 80 class is pretty darn high. Hopefully it has the performance to match.

Not really ideal but I guess I'll finally swap out my 8 year old G2 PSU for a more recent one.

That would turn me off from it. I know you can undervolt etc but that can still bring instability.

What is happening with nvidia stocks?
Lol, didnt they announced record earnings?

I think it's a two part issue:

-While earnings were good, they weren't as high as investors expected

-September is historically the worst month for the stock market. The expectation for most stocks was 5-7% fall off this month, with tech sector seeing possibly more due to being oversold.

No doubt my PSU could easily power it with my modest PC with some power limits set. Seeing as I've seen many 4090+AMD builds with a quality 750W PSU. If you have an A tier 750W PSU and a Ryzen system I don't think it will be that much of an issue. For me moving to ATX 3.0-3.1 makes sense as it cleans up some clutter a bit and gives me more leg room for future expansions.

But yeah for stability you just have to be sensible the voltage and curve values when undervolting. Definately worth doing unless you just want pure performance from OC.
