This is the worst trade deadline day ever
I expect a few things to happen in the final minutes. Since some GMs are reactionary, others will probably keeping things tight to their chest until the very end.

If not, oh well. Canucks probably should have gotten another blueliner, but I'll just continue to cross my fingers that Mitchell and Bieksa come back soon.

Trades always seem to pour in after the deadline too.

The Caps were pretty active today. They got tougher up front, and added size to their defense as well. They look like legit contenders this season, despite some questionable goaltending.

Adding Poni once again made Pittsburgh the favorites to win the East for me.. that's really all they needed, a decent winger that can help out Malkin/Crosby.

But now Caps acquire Corvo.. hmm that's pretty good for them imo.

Modin trade (probably) went through. Good pick-up for the Kings.
Yes if he can stay healthy he adds some size and strenght for them.. he was actually pretty good for Sweden in the Olympics (though he was out with stomach flu against Slovakia).

Corvo to WAS. They are loading up on veterans.

Damn. I can see one or two, but adding four players significantly changes the makeup of any team. It should be interesting to watch them the rest of the season.

It was a nice Stanley Cup dream you had there for a few months, Chicago.
That dream was shattered when they signed Hossa long-term.

The most important event of the trade deadline was someone getting angry with Pierre McGuire live on air. Does anyone have highlights?

What happened to the Panthers GM flipping out and saying he was going to trade away the team? Horton, Weiss, Vokoun, Booth, McCabe, Allen all still there.

I would like to see this. I was at work in the morning, so I missed it.

Wishful thinking on my part. :lol

Double B time! Manics, get your lotion ready!

Meh I've got no inspiration for a jerk off session right now. I was hoping Kaberle was in play today, but alas nothing.

Jurcina was there just weeks ago. Plus Pothier was the only roster guy they gave up.
