Anaheim picks up Aaron Ward from Carolina for Justin Pogge and a 4th rounder.


Boston acquires Seidenberg and Bartowski from Fla for Craig Weller, Byron Bitz and a 2nd round pick.
 
Why the fuck am I watching this crap? I said I wouldn't but here I am watching discussions regarding minor leaguers and 4th liners =/ SMH

Not a bad trade at all for the Caps. They're mixing it up with some veteran presence and size.

Getting Kaberle would be weird for them, though.

it was 20m for two years, which thankfully he declined. He only played about half a season and was paid accordingly.

I don't really see the big deal with the Toskala trade. Assuming Calgary had nothing else to do with the cap space, the worst thing that happens is that Toskala is a worse backup than McElhinney.

Not really sure what I think about this trade. I just hope Mueller can live up to his hype and turn it around. Never heard of this Porter guy though. What's the word about him?
