I've got 25 minutes left. Maybe we should try and keep the YouSendIt links close to GAF so that they don't get bogged down? It's not like they would be worth anything to MF.com in its current state?

If they want to make a stink about it they could contact ISPs and get people tossed off their ISPs for downloading what LFL could claim as pirated. Happens with people downloading TV shows all the time. Cox shut down a lot of people's access after ABC complained to them about people downloading torrents of Lost.
 
Get a new download accelerator, the mpeg on dsimple.com plays fine for me.

And yes, the Yoda close-up does look pretty bad.

Funny how companies make a stink over people downloading shows with the ads taken out. In this case, we're downloading the ads sans the show. Would LFL even have a case?

Lucasfilm will not prosecute people for downloading this. It would be a PR disaster, plus I doubt that they could really prove that they are being financially damaged by distribution of what is an advertisement for their products.

I grabbed DSimple.com's trailer with Download Accelerator Plus, and viewed it with Windows Media Player....if anybody is having trouble with it.

It brings up an Unknown Error in WMP for me. It'll play, but you can't search through the trailer without getting the error.

:lol @ all the Canadians (rightfully) complaining about the CTV feed.

Canadian television standards suck ass, I can't believe they're allowed to hijack the US feed even on the "US" channels.

Fortunately, I used to live in an area that had an independent cable company, and we got the complete US feed on US channels. :D

Then I came to Toronto and discovered how everyone else gets such a raw deal.
 
Hah, awesome trailer, except for that irritating O.C. guy giving the intro. Holy shit! Sidious is a scary fucker, when he goes for Mace & the other Jedi. Also the Yoda/Sidious senate fight, looks batshit insane!

Definitely can't wait to see this!
 
The scenes where Anakin is purging the Jedi Council, with the clones marching next to him are fantastic. And the shot of Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting eachother back in the hallways reminds me of Luke vs Vader in the hallways of the Bespin complex.

Awesome.

And Sidious throwing senate pods at Yoda is fucking intense.

You can see Spielberg's influence in those scenes (Lucas allowed him to play around with the animatics for several scenes).

Qui Gon's presence in the movie, how he's going to teach Yoda about the force spirits and all that jazz

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think the closeup of Yoda in the trailer that everyone is complaining about is when he
hears Qui-Gon speaking to him on Polis Massa/Tantive IV (wherever that scene is).

Qui-Gon's
presence is most definitely in the movie.
 
The only problem is that Star Wars trailers are completely not indicative of the final product. In fact, the better the trailer, the worse the movie.
 
can anyone tell me what program to use to sync the sound with the video? the video quality is amazing but I'd rather watch the trailer with audio in sync.
